I'm 12 and I used to throw 52 but now i throw 58. This helped soo much, especially with my curveball accuracy. Keep up the good work. Thanks!
Really appreciate you. Thanks for the support 🙏
Thanks Coach Beeding. Glad to have played with you in the past with KC Monarchs. I stepped up and volunteered to coach our 9u team and will use this with our coaching this summer with our 9 year olds!
Really digging the drills!!
I’m a parent and I want to say thank you for making this so simple for me but yet so effective. My son and I are working on it now, he’s 11
@@kimberlyjohnson651 Thanks so much for the support. Hope you and your son have many bonding moments and have fun working on his skills. 🙏
hello, im a pitcher, but this year our mound moved back (in Canada 11u is 46ft, 12u is 50ft) and I'm having trouble with gaining speed to keep up, I used to throw 50-52 and was fastest but now I only throw 46-50 and people are now throwing 50-55 (I still pitch because of my accuracy and how i can pitch for groundballs and pop ups), i think its because I still don't know how to properly use my hips when I pitch as I endup leading with my arm and then pushing off instead of pushing off and then waiting to throw after I fire my hips. if you understand what I mean, could you send me some tips
Great stuff!!!
Thanks! :)
I play baseball ⚾️
Awesome! Have a great season :)
I don't want to come off the wrong way, but halfway through the video I noticed that you were doing something a little questionable. You would sometimes open your lead leg up too much which bleeds out your energy, and you would also land on the ball of your lead foot or toes of your foot. As coaches we should be teaching these kids to land towards the back of the foot and rock through the front. Also landing with the foot facing around 1 o'clock.
My season is hard and we are 1-3 only because we had a bad pitcher one time we allowed 13 walks and 1 hit and I want to be a pitcher so I hope this helps me out so fingers crossed 🤞🏾🤞🏾
I believe in you. Work and train to the best of your ability and keep growing your knowledge. You got this!
Thanks
When doing these drill, how many reps should we be doing. My son just turned 9 this past Friday. We did a few of your alls drills I watched, but I was not sure how many reps to do. Also, for a 9 year old, how many pitches/throws per day in your opinion is a good amount for training, and how many days per week? Thank you, love your channel.
Hi Jordan and thank you for reaching out to us We appreciate you. To address the question of number of reps I would say 8 to 10 reps per drill would be plenty also if he's not putting too much effort into it and working more the form of the drill you can work that drill longer. I would put a cap on his daily pitching to around 25 pitches. No reason for overuse at such a young age and just as long as he's consistent in his throwing he will grow tremendously. Hope this helps and thank you so much.
@@ARMPitchingDevelopment awesome feedback, thank you so much.
Thanks i just started my little league season this is helping alot
Hope you have a great season :)
Cuff it’s been about a month into your league. I was curious how’s it going so far?
Yea it’s been going great we have won alot of games but i never ended up pitching i ended up catching but still the was a awesome vid
I got the pitching accuracy but not the the speed I wish here in London they had training coaches so they help me build of my fast ball and teach me the curve balls 😑🙁
Hey David. Thanks for reaching out. So check out the videos on my channel I have several that cover velocity and curve ball + pitches. Let me know if you need any guidance. Good luck buddy

Coach. My son is 7.5 and recently fell in love with baseball. He likes to practice pitching but has not been in a league yet. Do you recommend these same drills for a 7 year old?
Yes
Thanks for the support I really appreciate it and best of luck to you guys keep surfing the channel there's a ton of drills and exercises for him to work on and grow through as he moves on through baseball.
@@ARMPitchingDevelopment that's awesome thank you!
Hi my kid is 9 and they had him pitch an inning every game in fall ball. He threw the most strikes, but slow speed.
My ques is - where should the eyes be looking during the pitching process? At the glove I'm guessing? And at what point do they look at the "target"?
My season is starting tomorrow so this is helping out a lot
Awesome! Hope you kill it buddy. #ARMsquad
Thxs helped a lot!!
Welcome buddy ;)
I have a few kids that try to 'pause' at the top on one leg...after they load the hip...they'll separate...pause and aim before throwing. Any suggestions to keep this motion a more fluid single stage movement.
Try eliminate the load point and work a slide step in. It will train hand break and arm action speed while moving faster down the mound. They may help. Be blessed 🙏

I enjoy and appreciate all the videos you do. How do you feel about the advice to push off the mound? I hear it a lot, but do you agree with it? Thanks and God bless!
@@davidaglio8829 push or drive is fine in terms of terminology but the main understanding or point that I would try to get across is to stay in your quad and work up from the hip and then out to the catcher staying strong in your glutes as well. I believe we have a video out that covers the back leg drive portion of mechanics that you might want to uncover and share with whomever. Hope that helps you in any way feel free to hit us up anytime and hope you guys have a great season.
@@ARMPitchingDevelopment Thanks so much for getting back to me. I appreciate it. My son is now in the bronco league (11/12 yr olds), and I'm trying to figure out how to teach the kids to use their legs more while pitching.

Hey, i was wondering if they’re tips for like where u wanna place the ball in the strikezone
Hello Coach! Thank you very much for the drills, here in Argentina we have few resources so everything is highly appreciated. Do you have an annual training guide / book / program for little pitchers? (ages 8-12) I saw your book on amazon, but I understand it is for teen and adult pitchers. Thank you in advance.
Hello thanks for reaching out. Currently I don't at the moment but I can put something together and send it when I get it done. Email me. coachbeeding@gmail.com
