Limerick is a nice city
Looks and feels like more of a city than Cork
I spent a few days here during the summer. Everyone I met was so friendly, especially the lovely couple in William Street who went out of their way to get me on the right bus to the University, thank you! It was the number 304 bus, opposite Guineys department store. The city centre is just the right size for walking around. McDonald's has gone but there's a Burger King with Penneys (alias Primark) just round the corner and of course, Dunne's, which sells everything. I had a wander down to Arthur's Quay with its fantastic view of King John's Castle from the park and the bus stops for places like Dublin or Ennis. When you get to Ennis, there's a bus to the Cliffs of Moher. Ireland is such a welcoming place and I hope to be back again soon.
