Aussie: Snow! + 7 Day Rainfall as some rain relief continues
Вставка
- Опубліковано 28 вер 2024
- Snowy and wet weather is in the forecast for the driest parts of southern & south-eastern Australia with some heavy falls here and there in Western Australia too - but again not everyone will get the relief they want. We break down the messy forecast for you - who gets rain, who misses out - and who has snow. Certainly the mountains of NSW,VIC and TAS have a chance of a dusting. The ski fields should get a good dump of snow.
*CORRECTION: Sounds silly, but Phil talks at the start about Aussie looking like it's driving "away" from NZ...but instead...it's driving TOWARDS NZ! We will clarify on Monday to those that care! :) Also, this: x.com/WeatherW...
Temperatures vary with mid 30s in NT and single digit highs in TAS!
Our flight sim place of the day today is Adelaide!
*Programming Note: Due to a long weekend in New Zealand we have brought forward our Thursday Australia forecast by one day. Our next update will be on Monday.
As an Australian, I wait to watch your comprehensive weather forecast for Australia, as it’s by far the best I’ve seen. It’s much better than what is on offer locally. Congratulations.
Why does the best weather report for Australia come from New Zealand? Big fan of your work.
Thank you so much! Aussie and NZ both have a heavy "Government controls it all" approach - which has been shattered in the digital age by those that challenge that :)
And you always include Tasmania!
@@JaneNewAuthor Tassie seems like a third island of NZ to me. Our weather comes from TAS, you're like a future version of what we get a couple days later - and the land is beautiful, it's an oddly fascinating place to me!
I love NZ! Only been once, to Wellington, but would love to come back one day.
If I could live anywhere else it would be NZ.
Bom Australia is shite, inaccurate and false
Thankyou from Adelaide Phil and Team
Thanks Phil, where I get my Oz weather every THURSDAY! (oops Wed) Currently 23.1 C on the Gold Coast - (it is winter!)
Thanks for giving Adelaide a wrap. It was great and we’ll enjoy. We are certainly very happy to get the rain so thanks so much, Phil you are a diamond.
Hi Phil Cape York 28c min 21c had sone drizzle overnight. Al dry now. Dry nearly 7 weeks
Thankyou WWteam may you have a great long weekend! Cheers from Mallanganee nsw 💚
Thanks Phil, I love listening to your extensive weather report. From Sunshine Coast, Queensland.
Lovely comprehensive forecast thank you ❤
Love this forcast, made me happy for the Yorke peninsula SA, cheers
Finally Phil Hope is alive we have had about 40mm on K I south Australia
Is 40mm good? all the best from QLD, have a great week mate.
Good weather report
Keep up the good Work Kiwi. xxchemskyhasbeenconstantxx
Chemtrails are literally a debunked conspiracy. You're thinking of cloud seeding, which is not done high up in the sky but lower down in the clouds itself :) Thanks for the kind words!!
@@WeatherWatchTV in all respects you are wrong . We are being done big Time .
@@thelastaustralian7583 Everyone who believes in what you believe in cant provide evidence that can be measured. It's always a photo, a link to something else, a feeling, etc. I've been very publicly asking for 20 years exhaustively for evidence that is real - something that you would go to court with. All i get are feelings, photos, cloud pics and contrails. Never raw data from that person. Ever. In 20 years. It's always "someone else" who has the data/evidence.
@@WeatherWatchTV Thanks ,this is a 'Militarized program'...here is One, i have more ,will send ....The Dimming, Full Length Climate Engineering Documentary ( Geoengineering Watch )
@@thelastaustralian7583 I have no idea what all that means. Just once I want someone to say "Here is the plane used, the airport it departed from, the chemicals bought and used and sprayed with RECEIPTS/EVIDENCE and the person/worker/contractor/employee providing evidence". Otherwise this continues to be a 20 year conspiracy theory. I'd love to break the story .... if there were facts to back it up.
Yippee my favourite and most accurate weather forecast. Thanks Phil. Victoria Australia here. 😊🌻
Love ur work phil❤
Love watching weatherwatch for the Aussie forecast 👌. So much better and more informative weather for right across the country. Thanks weatherwatch 😊 from Victoria.
Love this channel. Very informative.

Warm day in brisbane yesterday felt like summer temperatures would experience in Auckland in summer .first time experience summer temperatures this time of year while on holiday in queensland.
Thanks
Thank you for the extra support :)
Frazer coast roos are already carrying babies eating grass.

Yippee, snow! Snow down to how many metres?
23.00last night we had massive lightning show with a 38kn squall pass over Airlie beach. Whats the go here for sunny NE QLD?
The summer easterlies have returned! Blame NZ if you want. We'll take it. (high pressure down our way is altering your weather)

No mate…where in reverse, we want to be closer to the long lost cloud ☁️ 😊
I know I realised that after I had recorded!! :) Come on over!
Have yourselves a wonderful long weekend guys. Enjoy the break.
Thanks again team. Bloody amazing work
I'd never leave our ANZAC mates.
Have a great week fellow Aussies, from QLD, i love this fantastic country.
😂😂😂scootin of from NZ 👍❤️🧚♀️
How are we driving away from NZ when our wheels are spinning clockwise?
I agree.😊
Do you know I was SO annoyed with myself after we published it and I rewatched and realised my brain had reversed it!!!! If it helps we did this tweet: x.com/WeatherWatchNZ/status/1805749036424794502
I figured it was an artifact of video...
Like in Bonanza (Yes, I'm showing my age) the wheel spokes looked like they were spinning backwards while the cart was moving forwards [this was due to the shutter speed of the camera]
We are getting #good rain for all of Victoria #soon. I feel it in my young bones. Cheers, all who watch WeatherWatch TV. 😊
aint seen no rain yet little drizzle that's all
Hope your bones are reliable.
Cheers bro, that report was mint.
Thanks heaps!
Love you guys.
A great report and topped off with a beautiful fly over!!..thank you!..from Cairns
I love your wearher reports. Watching from Victoria, Australia.
Great stuff.... The best weather update on the net......
That is incredible kind. thank you.
Your reports always seem more optimistic than BOM for rain, I get excited and none comes, maybe it's the 7 days accumulation, we are also in a pocket, but I think it's 0-5 mm that gives too much cover that doesn't eventuate.
Literally we started our brand in NZ nearly 20 years ago based on this - I'm from a rural background so seeing the Government forecaster(s) and news channels always say "Rain" when at best you had a cloud build up and nothing means we always err on the side of dry/caution unless it's a huge event. We use the word "showers" more than "rain" to also help people not get their hopes up. Never thought the same thing that launched us in NZ would be the same thing making us trusted in Aussie. Thank you! Phil D
I can't help but wonder if any of their team at BOM come here to spy on the engagement. They probably despise Phil D and his "hick" setup from the wops. 😂
@@freedom_born Haha! Actually one of BoM's forecasters, Hamish, used to work at MetService in NZ. I really like his style.
In NZ MetService didn't like us for over 10 years - quite badly and publicly - but ultimately the old school management left and they saw the public support for the work we were doing. BoM has far more competition than MetService - so they are used to it more than here in NZ - but the Aussie Govt is more controlling towards people like us issuing "warnings". Which we don't really do. We talk about severe weather but our default will always be to say BoM are official warnings providers. I know they work with the private sector - NZ could learn from BoM :)
@@WeatherWatchTV
Entirely understandable. They do have a few presenters that've been on the scene for a while. It's no surprise you guys would be somewhat associated with a couple of them too... lol yeah Hamish seems pretty chill.
Idk mate, the love from everyone comes from the charm of your presentation. No other weather channel has that energy - *and you show flight paths* - that's innovative and mind-blowing.
@@freedom_born Thank you!! :)
Brrrrmmm. Brrrmmmmm 🤣. Great forecast. Thanks
Cheers Phill....rain, hail and snow in Tassie and loving it.
Jealous.
Kind regards from,
Mostly (so far) winter-free Auckland.
Not drive away. Drive closer cuz. Coming over for the long weekend. ❤❤❤
Awww thank you for that lovely full moon shot of our city Phil! Much appreciated! And yes it’s COLD. But hey we had summer until the end of May so we are lucky. About 64 mm for the city so far. 73 required for the average and by the looks of it well get it by the weekend.
Cheers to you and your team🥂👌
Thank you very much for the very kind reply - it made all the effort of our computer crashing whilst making it, all that worth while!! :) Cheers, Phil.
@@WeatherWatchTV 🤣😂🤣
Next update 4/7/24 Christmas in July
Thank you Phil great stuff as always
Hey Phil, love your work but those wheels on the map are driving us towards Kiwi Land not away!
I know I realised after we had recorded it - the screen looked different for me is my excuse!! :)
Thank you Phil and Team⚡️🇦🇺
no more for cairns please
Simulation Clouds lmao
😁😊
Enjoy watching your reports Phil! The best! Adelaide watching. 🌹👑🌹👑🌹👑🌹
Thank you :)
@weatherwatchtv Philip (on the Aussie video) can you please explain what the blue and red lines mean and what the numbers on them indicate (5760 and 5400)... curious!
Hi there, they basically measure air thickness - put simply when the blue line heads north a cold blast is moving in, and a red line dropping south is heat, often tropical.
BEST WEATHER CHANNEL EVER, awesome job Phil. ❤🇦🇺
Look at the emotionally charged colors now used on weather maps -idiots OOOH its aweful winter cold with some rain yet Temps in NSW coast nonseasonaly warm ie 20Degrees? ahahaha
So it's obvious you never watched the video, or watch us regularly then.
