- The world’s fastest Polaris RZR built by @SXSBlog came out to play. It’s powered by a billet 2JZ-GTE, makes over 1,100hp and PARTIES! Did we mention that it only makes 2,400lbs too? But wait, there’s more… this Polaris RZR also ran a 8.14 in the quarter mile and can trap 170mph too. Lia Block and the 1,400hp Hoonicorn have their work cut out for them, enjoy!

I was literally screaming watching this race. That was the most incredible battle I’ve ever seen. No handicaps. No roll races. Right from a dig the SxSblog boys gave the Hoonicorn the biggest challenge from a RWD car yet. Doug is a driver. So proud of them. This will be at the top of the most viewed list.
I was so happy when i saw this video. Doug was as always, awesome guy that loves a challenge.
There was no doubt in my mind that they would only race heads up. Doug and the boys are true competitors. They would rather lose an honest race than win by being given an advantage.

It's so impressive for a rwd "car" to almost keep up with the Hoonicorn even with less power per weight. That thing would be able to beat the Hoonicorn if they the time to dial it in for the runway like the Hoonicorn is. But no matter what it was a legendary race and probs to him for doing a second heads up with no advantages 😁
I cannot believe that this, of all things, was one of the closest competitors against the hoonicorn. I never thought we'd see a RWD car that could race heads up like that and make it close. WILD
The rs3 was really close, the GTR dominated the Hoonicorn lol. But this one was a stupid surprise how fast it is.

@@joshuaatkins5197 If they launch it at a lower rpm it will probably bog off the line. Make no mistake they have done extensive testing on launching the hoonicorn, that car is dialed in.
We all know Doug is on his way to bump power and gain traction… would be amazing to see the rematch. I hope everybody can make it happen. This is my favorite hoonicorn race by a mile. From either season. Thank everybody involved for putting this together. Amazing!!

It’s great that Ken has his daughter out shredding tires and racing. Giving his girl real life experiences. My oldest daughter was a good driver at 10. She loved driving country roads and off road. She shows the boys how it’s done on the kart tracks.

My hat goes of to the SXSblog guys for racing the Hoonicorn, a car engineer and built by some of the best shops in the industry with hundreds of thousands dollars invested and SXSblog guys put up an awesome race with a home built RZR!!!
Maybe watch a little about that rzr build, they had engines explode, tuning issues until they went to a proper builder and tuner.

Home built for the most part vs widely corporated companies supporting the build of this beast for major events of captured film to produce major distribution upon ken block and his crew the business and all that good stuff vs some build some dudes did on an off road fucking vehicle from they're home state.

In the video they released they said it was still spinning down track, withought a prepped surface that monster just spins for days. Plus the drag thing in the sxs also confirmed that it was not getting traction, it had lower times then normal in the 1/8mile.

Yeah, I think some work on gearing a slightly more aggressive tune, the 2JZ would win and that is without a prepped surface.

Pretty sure they did make a gearing change for this race. You gotta bring a machine ready to win with no excuses when your on stage like this.
