Desire to sing for the love of what can be created at 3 years old. Endless hours learning. Endless hours practicing. Piano, violin, flute. Language. Norwegian. Farce. English. It comes down to three words. Art With Passion. Angelina is not just a singer. She is an artist infused with seemingly unlimited passion. She is transcendental. She has started that she goes to a different world. What she has done to me and hundreds of thousands is take me with her to her world, and what is truly amazing is I go with her and find I am staying there. Yes I truly mean that her taking me with her has changed me. I look at the world differently and I see the universe and am in awe of where and what she has taken me to I do not know what she sees but I know what I feel and that is hope. More to follow at another time.
We all wonder how such a sweet, innocent child can convey the emotions that only come from great loss, disappointment, and heartbreak. But when she sings, her voice reaches deep inside you and communicates the emotion she wants you to feel. And then at the end of the song, while you're still weeping and trembling, she smiles and waves and says her cheerful "Bye!". Amazing.
I knew you would love this one. It is a mystery how a girl just 12 years old could sing with so much deep feeling. It's like she totally understands the feeling, when she couldn't possibly. It doesn't seem possible, but there it is. One thing I really love about this one is that it is just Angelina and her keyboard. It's not a backing track or other musicians, so she is able to control the tempo and pacing of the song however she sees fit in the moment. She is able to add yet another layer of magic to it when it is all her.
I also appreciate you being honest that she is your favorite (even though I understand your husbands reaction to that). There are certain other artists that will bring more views to your channel, but as anyone who has ever listened to top 40 pop could tell you.... "most" does not always equal "best". There are some singers that are the top in the world from a technical standpoint, but when it comes to making a person feel something, there is nothing technical about it. You either feel it or you don't... and no other singer (ever) has been able to make me feel it like Angelina.

Yes, those impressively technical singers, that everyone love lack Angelina’s depth of feeling, and understanding -- wherever the mysterious place it comes from, it seems so real to us. She feels the songs without having lived it.
Totally get it and couldn't agree more. There is lots of talent out there but Angelina is "Special"! I still listen to Jackie Evancho (my #2), Dimash, Diana Ankudinova, Courtney Hadwin, Angelica Hale, Celine Tam, Daneliya Tulashova Grace Vanderwaal and even Darci Lynn Farmer who all I have been faithfully following. But there is something about Angelina that really stands out!
You forgot AMIRA she is the new Queen of Opera, and better than jackie when it comes to strictly opera. When jackie sang for president trump's inauguration I thought to my that he should have used LAURA BRETAN instead. That girl can really belt it out, while Jackie was too soft or quiet for a outdoor event.

your list is impressive but I would not put Courtney Hadwin or Grace Vanderwall in the same league. Darci Lynn is on a different level, for her talent is one you can't compare to just singers for she is exceptional in two realms. Just my opinion

She's been my No. 1 for years. There's no shame in that.
As a performing musician I was at first turned off by the halting simplicity of the piano playing but have since realized that it fits perfectly with what she is conveying. Someone going through such a wicked game would not have the emotional strength to be spot on rhythmically. It took her stunning musical genius to see that and her fearless courage to record it without caring if the all knowing judges who would see this video would get it or not. She sees the truth of a song and gives it to us whether or not we are ready to see it too. When we do it is a beautiful revelation. Thank you Angelina

I love your reactions to Angelina! I think it's because I see you being moved by her as much as I am moved by her. I'm 62 years old and can honestly say I've never EVER been touched by a singer of ANY age, like I'm touched by her voice. It's truly magical. This includes Barbra Streisand, Celine Dion, Adelle and all the others. We expect greatness from them, but when we see the innocent face of this young angelic creature we are literally devastated by what comes out of her mouth with her first breath. She takes us on an emotional journey with every phrase and makes us melt like hot butter on summer day. Let's pray she has decades of magic ahead and doesn't become another tragic statistic like so many others did before their time.

Love your reactions. She’s unbelievable. I’ve watched her since a debut on NGT. Angelina is playing the piano on this one. You ask about how he can sing as she does she was once asked in an interview how she could do this bearing in mind how young she was. She said that she was only 12 in her passport! When asked what it was like when she sang she explained that she went to a completely different place,. The interviewer asked her to describe it and she explained that it was beautiful, full of colour and light, infinite. As you have realised she is a very special girl indeed,.

I think she channels her grandfather. She really loved him and misses him. There is a song that she sings Always on my mind ( Willie Nelson) that she dedicates to her grandpa, and she gets very emotional.

Angelina was playing the piano. She started a little bit ago. The first question is how does a 12-13 year old sing a song like that, like that?!! That is really her gift isn't it. To convey that emotional impact that is believable. But within a few notes she has us all feeling the events of our life where this level of emotional involvement pushes us to relive all the emotions we seek to bury. Even if my normal response is to cry, this performance would extract tears from concrete. I can only imagine the nine gates of hell she will drag me through, 'cause I have a whole lot of baggage that I have packed away. So I wouldn't be too tough on myself you have a lot of company.
All of us understand that UA-cam is being draconian about the new rules. Being vague and arbitrary, about these things. So do what you have to do to protect yourself, because the last thing we want is for you to be banished. We all like having you around. You are a bit like our "Angelina" reactor evoking emotions from us that we didn't know were quite so accessible.
I think there are a lot of us that hold her in this same high regard. I have two singers that are IT for me. Angelina a given, then there is a young singer from Kazakhstan named Daneliya Tuleshova. I stumbled across both these singers 2-3 days apart. I don't play favorites as they both have helped me through some very hard painful nights. I say that my favorite is whoever I'm listening to at the time. If you feel moved to react to Daneliya, you have to start with the performance on The Voice Kids Ukraine. She sang 'Stone Cold' for her blind audition. Daneliya is a tiny little thing with a huge voice. Maybe I shouldn't say too much, I'll just say this, her fans are as loyal as Angelina's. She had only been singing for 1.5 yrs when she entered this competition. That was in 2018 as of now she has 300,000 subscribers on just one of her platforms. Her style is different from Angelina's but she is just as adorable and I think, talented. Anyway, I just wanted you to know about her, If I have peaked your interest you won't be wasting your time, I promise.
I love your reaction to all of Angelina's songs. I'm an old guy and she has a way of reaching in your heart and pulling out all the emotions, and like you said, a child her age shouldn't be able to convey the "feelings" that she expresses when she sings, but she does. I sit here evenings and just play reaction video after reaction video of people constantly being amazed by her, and almost every song, I'm smiling and crying at the same time. Yeah, she affects people that way, but I'll continue to come back. Rambling...... sorry.

@@adamgarwood396 Close in what? If you are talking about singing, I completely disagree. He's very talented and technical singer, but he is very far from being my favorite, very far. Hitting super high notes, screaming and sweating on all of his songs without exception is not my beer. His singing style and song choices are completely opposite to what I'm looking for in music. His constant voice changes in every performance that I have listened, is what I absolutely dislike in many of today's singers. I don't know if that is a trend mostly in Asia or not, but when I hear someone singing male/female voices in the same song, I'm getting sick. That is the main reason I can't stand Marcelito Pomoy. I've watched Diana Ankudinova's version of Wicked Game and there is the same story.She has a very good voice, but when the male part came... huh wtf. No thank you. I don't understand the need of doing this weird things when someone perform. It's not natural, it sounds weird, forced and creepy. That's why there is man and women on this world. You don't need to be both. I've heard couple of Dimash songs and he's doing this also, playing between male and female voices. No thanks. So, in conclusion, is he talented and technical singer? I don't know what happened the original video. She's playing the piano all alone. It adds to the mood of the song., so beautiful and haunting. This is definitely one of the interpretations of Angelina's songs that most grab your soul and make you look inside, its slow, smoky, sweet, intimate tones, dig you in and make you lose your sense of time. Her voice is so emotional that it leaves you like driftwood on the beach after a storm, but it's also so sweet! For me the best version of this song

That`s bound to happen in this one. This one is at the top of my list of Angelina performances. The way she is handeling both music (she play the piano herself) and lyrics. I don't know her personally, but I've been a huge fan for over a year now and have seen over 90% of her work that's published on UA-cam. With that said, I've never seen her dad, ever. Maybe that is where she pulls her emotions? I could be very wrong. What I do know, is that she is an extremely empathetic human being. With some empaths it could lead to deep depression. I never knew what this song was about until I looked it up after hearing Angelina sing it. I listened to the original but I believe Angelina does it better.

I went through this three times. Once in Jr.High, once in High School and currently, I’m going through it again.
This last one, love was reciprocated but it ultimately ended up that she really never loved me the way I loved her so I count it.

Copyright strikes from Angelina are very rare. You might have to be careful with her appearances on certain TV shows, but I can't recall a single case of Angie herself ever doing that.

It's empathy. The AJ superpower! She does not have to have experienced an emotion herself to be able to communicate it through song. She gleans the emotion from the original performer, filters it through her own lens and amplifies it to the listener. Chris Issac has a great arrangement and does a beautiful, emotional job of singing this song. But Angelinas cover is just as emotionally powerful using just three simple piano chords repeated. It's astounding, really. People use the word love a lot. I love this and I love that. And sometimes we take it lightly when someone says they love a performer. But Angelina fans know, when we say we love her, it's because we Love her.
In my humble opinion, she is hands down the best female singer, period. I've never ever heard any other artist, that can sing so many different song genres, and and nail it every single time.
