Im currently a LEO in Central Florida. This channel actually helped me a lot to understand the nature of the job when I was in the academy. Ill be around the area next month on vacation, im down to trade patches or challenge coins!

Can you give us a weekend safety brief every Friday? Also, I would like to know what to do when pulled over, or approached by an officer. NO police department has EVER done this. It's not required to know this to get a driver's license. Tell us what we need to do so when we do anything stupid. Should we turn the vehicle off? Leave it running? You have a large following, and this could quickly go viral. I also recommend that Sgt Diaz help with the demonstration

Not much going so more respond to the call. Also in police brains the more the better in case something happens and it takes a turn for the worse.

Serious question. Is it a requirement to know spanish to work for Miami PD? If not what do you do on a call or stop and the person only speaks spanish? I’d think it’d get old fast always having to call another officer to translate.
No its not a requirement to speak Spanish. And yeah if an officer who doesn't speak Spanish needs translation another officer will come to assist.

We currently don't have mounted vehicle radios. So we use our handheld outside, and inside the car.
