This is my favourite Japanese track from them. Do you remember the speech Jin has during MAMA in Hong Kong? How they are very stressed out and thinking of disbanding? This song came out during that stage in their career so it hits me on another level nowadays. To think that it could basically be a song dedicated to ARMY in case if they really letting go. 😭😭😭 In terms of the unpuzzled the lego, I think Joon looks at the relationship as if he is stacking one piece of lego in each step of the relationship so by unpuzzling them, he is preparing to let go of the relationship. Oh, my.. Listening to this now makes me want to cry and thats not a good thing because I'm alone in Starbucks right now, people will think that I was just been dumped by someone 😢😢😢 p/s: Thank you for another great reaction. Launa you can count me in into the list of people who adore Let Go to pieces. As for your dad, I like to hear what he has to say about Tomorrow. I'm not sure if both of you have react to that masterpiece yet.
It’s really good and under appreciated. I find it really healing when I feel down. It’s a healthy reminder to just let things go and that letting go isn’t cold or loveless, just necessary.
After he says "unpuzzle my lego", he says "to the point where it can't return to its original shape. " I think that explains the lego reference better. Tear it down to the point where it can't be put back together. I've listened to the song hundreds of times and never caught the second part of that line so it seemed a little random.
It makes total sense, I think it’s just the word choice as in English most would say disassemble, pull apart, scatter, etc. but I genuinely think it was just a translation misunderstanding. The intent is pretty clear.

12:02 "alligator lizards in the air" (from Ventura Highway) has actual meaning, not just to rhyme. ;) Dewey Bunnell (the songwriter) says it was the shape of the clouds he and his brother saw, but even before I had learned that, I assumed it was that dehydration-phase of little squiggly lizard-like spots one sees when light-headed. Or is that just me? 😂 As for unpuzzling legos, I also don't think of legos as being puzzled or tangled, so find it kind of a stretch, but then that's poetic license. They can be taken apart, broken down, etc., so I'm good with it. 👍 Nice reaction and great insights as always!

I like to think "unpuzzle" is a cool way to say pick it apart from the puzzle shape it has already formed, literally tear down the Lego shape of their relationship and reduce it back to nothing, that's my interpretation

I have a little pile of songs that I have to make my own lyric videos for to either remove a throwaway curse word (since my dad won’t react to songs with swearing) or to refine a translation since many of the curse words in BTS translations are an attempt to condense an idea into language (example: in “So Far Away” some translations say “I’m an a**hole for believing” and others say “I’m an idiot for believing.”) 134340 is definitely on that list! That with So Far Away, Daydream, and Jamais Vu.
