The Stadiums are on the campus, 99% of the time. A few schools play in off campus stadiums. These college campus are huge. A school like Alabama, Georgia etc, have enrollment of 40,000 plus students.
Daz you’re spot on. College/ University is a brand. The more accolades whether academic or athletic the more kids want to attend which means more money /tuition for the school. The marketing brings in the talent.
The stadium, which is on the college campus. Is about a 1/2 mile from the practice facility. Both are on the edge of campus While it's a pretty easy walk it's not easy to transfer all that equipment. The practice facility is where all the fancy lockers and weight rooms are located along with indoor and outdoor practice fields.
That locker room is better than most pro football ones I've seen. Insane.
Notre Dame has gold dust added to the paint for their helmets. The helmets really shine in the sun.
Notre Dame Vs USC was the first Nationally Televised Football Game EVER
(Fighting Irish accepted the challenge)
Texas away is the most iconic look to me, when I think college football that look instantly pops into my head.
Slave Labor.
All the top 10 teams facilities pretty much look awesome. It really comes down to where you grew up, the coaches, and how your future looks there when players are choosing. When Nil was approved plays a little part now too.
You can buy authentic full size helmets. The good ones are about $700 to $1300. Some lower quality ones are about $200 to $300...
Penn State has pretty impressive facilities. They're on the same UA-cam channel as Alabama, Oregon etc.
Notre Dame
A usable helmet will cost North of $300. Cheaper replicas are often available.
Just to be clear---in college football, especially (well because they are 18-22 year-old knuckleheads--I was one once, too!), there is partying after the game and into the evening whether you win or lose---a bit happier if you win a big game, but still a party. Hey, it's typically Saturday night.
One of the best helmets is the Notre Dame gold--I believe they have a copyright or something like that on the color--it is a shiny, metallic gold, unlike any other in football, no numbers, or strips, just all gold.
“How far is it to the stadium?”
Me, a Miami fan: 😬
Keep up the great work fellas
Over the past couple decades college football has turned into a lucrative business with many schools making millions to billions in sales.
Since you don't have a college team you feel tied to I'd love to send you a care package and welcome you to the Alabama Family. If you ever make it to Tuscaloosa I'd love you give you an in-person tour of the stadium and the football facility.
There ya go, reel him in. Roll Tide!
The practice facility goes beyond just the pools and stuff. Most teams have at least two practice fields because you need more room for when all the individual positions practice by themselves. A lot of the higher end teams will have two or three outdoor fields, often a mix of natural grass and artificial turf to suit what they are playing on that week, as well as a full sized indoor field for practicing in inclement weather or sometimes when they want to simulate the loud crowd noise.
Simply put, the stadium is too small to fit most practices besides when they have scrimmages.
I think less of the established player--I think of the HS student coming up as a freshman--seeing that complex and how the team and the players are served.
Notre Dame Uses 24k Gold Flakes from the Old gold Dome, to paint the helmets.
Notre Dame Will have the Traditions and History that appeal to players. (Notre Dame is probably One of the largest National Fan Base in USA)….Hence their Primetime TV games and being in the National Conference (always have a loaded schedule)….That’s why in Nearly every football Compilation you react to 😂
It's all about the details.
Alabama's football stadium is on campus (as are almost all of the the top programs, but a few like miami play at off campus stadiums) but isn't located right next to the practice facilities. keep in mind the "bones" of the stadium has been there since 1929. so there's not much they can really do to expand the locker room in there. they have a whole complex with 3 outdoor fields and an indoor field.
uniforms and equipment is a big factor in recruiting high school kids. at the end of the day they're teenagers and a lot of them care about the uniforms. alabama and Nick Saban are the king of recruiting. this season, 3 of the 6 highest rated recruiting classes in history are on Alabama's team. facilities are a big part also. a big reason why the top colleges have crazy facilities is because they have to attract the top players. whereas in the pros, you draft players and there's not as much of a say for the players so it's not as important.
1946 Notre Dame Vs. Army @ Yankee Stadium
University of Alabama has about 39K students, and average tuition is $20k per year. So the school pulls in 780million per year from just tuition to attend. Add in all the sales, TV deals, housing, books, etc. They make billions per year. And the get donations from tons of millionaires and billionaires to build stuff. Unbelievably profitable business....
I root for a Big 10 school that has a wonderful tradition and more importantly requires higher academic standards than the NCAA requires and that the other big teams do follow. Meaning many athletes are ineligible to enroll due to grades but they do go to Alabama, LSU, OSU... I like the integrity of education.
And the sting of losing......
Texas Longhorns have a cool facility
I'd be pissed if my helmet was cleaned. You want stick marks and torn up decals. It shows the other team you don't fuck around.
That's how we played back in the 70s and 80s. We loved to see whose helmet had the most marks on it.
I can't think of any college team singing Blue Moon so you guys will have to compromise with some other song
Tennessee Vols!!!! No really? Nobody? Come on then orange and black Halloween jerseys are amazing! Hell the all Orange and white is amazing
Go Irish!
Peyton Manning Is a cool Vols
Yes, many universities have facilities like this for different sports. Not just Alabama and LSU....Check out UCF (University of Central Florida). Even basketball and baseball facilities!
It is still criminal and extremely exploitative that the coaches, presidents, and administrators of these universities put millions of dollars into their personal bank accounts every year and the players, who generate the billions of dollars for the universities, get ZERO. Remember, 99% of players get zero NIL money!
...The value of the scholarship the players get is worth .0001% of the billions of dollars they generate. Massive exploitation!!!
Modern Slave Labor For the Southern States without Paid Professionals
You know these college boys don't know anything about loading cargo onto trucks or else they would have a dock or lift gate. That's working harder.
Roll Tide
Notre Dame has a very international fan base with a strong presence stretching coast to coast. A lot of people associate with Notre Dame in New York and California as well Europe, Asia, and Latin America!
Notre Dame football also has one of the most diverse/spread out schedule of any school with west coast rivalries USC and Stanford, east coast rivalries Navy and Boston college, Midwest rivalries Michigan and Purdue, and southern rivalries with Miami and Florida state. It's one of the most prestigious football schools historically.
All the other schools you are going to be stuck to a very localized/regional schedule with very limited cross country game experiences unlike Notre Dame.
If you like traveling to or meeting fans from every corner of the country Notre Dame is just that school mate lol
Also Notre Dame and Navy play international games in Ireland every now and then
Go and watch the movie Rudy. It's a classic sports movie
I agree ☝️
Go IRISH! ND
Notre Dame football has been overrated for years now.
@@areguapiri not really they are usually in the top 25 if not top 10 year after year
@@areguapiri You will always find them on Basic Cable , Playing teams all over the Nation ……they will be televised on prime-time playing the largest teams all over the country every Saturday.
Notre Dame has a new coach and a history of excellence.
Anywhere i travel in USA….I can Find Notre Dame Game on TV ….Guaranteed.
What team do you follow?
Can i find them televised on Basic Cable Across the country each year and also competing in the American Conference? Does your team have as many titles?
you can get a full size replica helmet (you can't wear it but otherwise just like a real one) for around $100 USD. authentic ones that are identical to what the players wear are around $350. the full size replicas are a great deal honestly they are legit
The stadium was on campus from when i was there
Need to check out ohio state if possible! My hometown! Go Bucks!
Michigan Wolverines! Go Blue!
Roll Tide!

Notre Dame
Facilities keep getting upgraded because all the top programs are trying to attract the same prospects.
Im talking facilities only.
Bama texas or anyone else can't compare to the university of Oregon and it's sport's facilities. From the football to basketball to Hayward field.
LSU next
War Eagle from Auburn 🦅
ROLLTIDE
Roll tide
Love the college football! Take a look at University of Texas new 300 million dollar renovation. Hook Em!
You spent all that cash and it still can't touch what Oregon has done at the duck's facility!
@@kenmahoney5255 uhh... Phil Night is an alum of Oregon ya dummy! If Nike didn't make sure that the very league that holds the largest Nike contract, the NCAA, didn't keep his alma mater at the precipice, there would be a serious problem there. Smh, some people were born to pull the wagon for sure... This guy...
Roll tide boys. You should definitely become a part of the Bama nation. We will show you a great time on your trip over here
Yeah, it's crazy how much you can put into your facilities when you don't have to pay the players.
Everything's free for the players because it's some alumni footing the bill.
Its about 1 mile across campus of the school
DAZ! Alabama needs to be your team! ROLL TIDE ROLL!!
And adin is a gator already GO GATORS
As if Bama doesn’t already have enough bandwagon fans lol
@@Alex-kd5xc you can bandwagon all you want if your not from the same country.
Bama? 😂😅😂😅
Just don't tell Aidan to be a Vanderbilt,A& M,or Missouri Fan.As they say..He would be FUMING every Saturday in the fall.😂See we want him to become a REAL football fan that doesn't have penalty kicks.😊Either school is miles, and miles better than my Texas Longhorns. We lost to that powerhouse football school Iowa State at home!!😡😡😡😡 Yeah! weekly butt kickings for Texas is coming in 2024.A dumb, and stupid move by Texas administration.WTF? NOOOOO! I might cheer for Ohio State after 2nd game at Alabama..no for REAL! We are not that good. Our HS football is not that good anymore.Calfornia Maryland, Georgia,Florida, and Louisiana are way better than Texas HS now.I live in Texas I seen them..ughhh!🙄🙄
I'm from bama roll tide roll
You have the Texas tie so bring it home with Orange and White 🤘
Ps first
Daz just support the Kansas Jayhawks lol. You already have the giants colours which are pretty similar!
Bama has nice facilities but so does every other power 5 school in the country. It’s rare that the game day field is too far away and creates another reason for a second locker room…. That’s not normal for college football. But these guys get treated like kings. Most will argue even more than the professionals.
I’d Argue ….Alabama Students are their Only NFL…..Because they ONLY have College sports…..
Alabama is Backwards
Yes it is a lot of rings, so here's my obligatory "Bama has the most national championships" comment. (Technically Yale does but that was mostly in the 1800s, which hardly counts). Roll Tide
