Great video guys. Lots of nice stuff that isn't all that commonly known. Looking forward to more.

I don't think I understand how tight these should be? I've ridden for 11 yrs & always used very loose straps. Has the advice changed to do the opposite i.e. make them tight? I bought these 2 months ago & went back to my old school Shinn Monk 2011 straps with the black gym floor type foam because my foot can pivot/slide out when I want; however with the Flex LX 2023, the base is sticky & grips too well to do this. My foot can pivot almost 180 degrees on the 2011 Shinn & not sustain any injure; however I sustained an injury to my knee with the 23 Flex. Do you recommend not allowing a foot to come out as against loose bindings but if one does come out then injury is much more likely? I'm unhooking so the loose Flex bindings don't work well because they have to be SO loose due to the sticky base; however it works fine with loose 2011 Monk straps.

      Hey there,
Thanks for reaching out to us! We're sorry to hear about your experience and hope you are healing well.
Our bindings are designed to give good support and help cushion the landing. Improving the grip on our binding means there will be less chance of slipping and pivoting. This is a preference of rider and style and may not suit every rider.
Please feel free to reach out to us directly at info@northkb.com if you have any further questions.
      See you out there,
      Tyler 🤙
