I got the same turbos as you guys and adjustet them to 7hg, but now there is not so much space to for the flapper to regulate the boost as I would like. Do I have to be concerned with running into overboost ? Do you have any problems with overboost ?
Did you send the turbos for a rebalance or did you run em how they came? Where you get your tune from I live in Orlando so if you could help me out here lol
How have the 17t's been working after putting even more miles on them? Im debating the 17t's off ebay. 1.5k$ or name brand stage 1-2 twins (Pure1+ or 2). $3k OR just get the Doc Race Bottom Mount single turbo kit. For a few hundred you get the Gen2 Ball Bearing Precision 6266 Turbo for $4600 shipped, for a complete kit, ready to bolt on. Plus then the turbo can be removed with thw subframe in still with the bottom mount slim profile exhaust manifold and a v-band clamp to mount the WG & and the other for the turbo itself.. I like the sound off your exhaust. What kind of exhaust set up do you have? How do you like the clutch in traffic? I have an E92 and im 6MT also, so something ill eventually need to upgrade.. unsure of what route i should go as far as DMFW or a Single Mass Flywheel and what clutch to get.. I want a clutch that's as smooth as possible but still locks up when you release it hard.. I heard they have the twin or triple disc clutches that can do that and still have a reasonable clutch pedal weight to them..
Do you honestly think that these would be good replacements for someone wanting just a bit more very conservative power, and get rid of the old rattling stocks ?? I daily my car and just want a little more out of it, and would not be wanting to push crazy power out of the 17t’s

Question for you guys: I did full bolt ons from VRSF (w/7.5” FMIC), Pure 600 turbos (2” silicone inlets and outlets), and down pipes... I have the Cobb tuner. Do I need to get the full sport exhaust from VRSF or am I good with the stock exhaust (back pressure on the turbos)? Thank you in advance...

No issues with my 17ts so far and I beat the car every time I drive it, clutch is not daily friendly but holds power great
DKM twin disc works pretty good and doesn’t have a heavy pedal like my clutch masters

I’ve been daily driving mine for about 2 months now and no issues so far and I beat the crap out of the car 😂
Going on 18k with them e30/22psi and its a huge bump. Still a broad PowerBand . Worth the risk if ur not paying labour for install.

I’m doing fuel it stage 3 kit and as far as that much power I’m not sure
I’ve talk to multiple tuners and they don’t push the 17ts passed 600whp sooo my guess is that’s the max and where you start having issues
