Let's be honest. We the metal heads have always loved Cypress Hill 🤘
Was that Eminem running
Because of the Album Covers?
@@haltehara499 Because of the music.
I admit
@@haltehara499 because of both... Music and most album covers are awesome. I mean... Temples of boom could be a Black metal album cover.
One of the evilest sounding bass lines ever. This song is timeless.
The bass is goddamn SCARY man. Sounds like it's gonna beat you up.
@@louiepooh1510 yeah man 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Deadly

You can say one of the "Evilest" but don't forget that this was also one of the DOPEST BEATS ever produced as well. That Black Sabbath sample of the Harmonica sound was Dope Ass Fuck! DJ Muggs is one of the Best Hip Hop Producers of all time, underrated if you ask me.
These dudes reached the spectrum of music lovers. 30 years later I still get chills.
Absolute Facts
Still insane live too saw them 2 weeks ago
@@roryegan6923they are legends aleady 🥇🙏
I love this song. But we rocked it from the bro perspective in socal. So we chased pieces of shit of color out of our hoods with extreme prejudice.
@@chrischris5510 please elaborate on your story, if you are willing. Where did you grow up? How old are you?
Happy Holidays
Cypress hill on tour rn if you get a chance buy a ticket. Shit was dope

Ha ha yeah mon, ain't going out like that. Remember when this first came out.
One of their best songs. 90s Hip Hop was gritty and hardcore with its eerie yet compelling storytelling.
And it was soaked with Crews instead of artists
I wish rap music still told stories instead of people just trying to inflate their own egos
Because it's Horrorcore
@klijakuarikki lot of Gen X
we used to shoot mofos to this song
'It's a sin to kill a man, but I'll be damned if I don't take a stand'. One of the greatest lyrics ever.
I wrote it for them
TRUTH.

Great words!
@@Isimplywenttoschool i agree
When this came out in blue beetle it sent a shockwave through my spine 🕳️🤲🏻
Same here as soon as I heard b- real i was yupp cypress hill in blue beetle is just too perfect especially when the beat drops and he smashed his fist together that part was sick,,also the scene where they used this song was freaking bad ass I can't wait for the bluray to watch it again.
fr that whole bit was my favorite sequence in the film
I agree with all of you when I heard the beat coming in slowly my fucking heart started pumping like I wanted to stand up and start fighting lol fucking legendary scene
Blue Beetle was a real badass in that film
O hit clássico em um filme ruim 😂
Gotta say. I speak for all metalheads here I think, we love Cypress Hill. This track fucking bumps.
That lil gangsta touch every metal head needs compa!
I get big Korn vibes from this
My brother is a metal head and likes cypress.
Yes
@@giering7142 I am metal head too cypress bring dope rythim like sabatth influence
Cypress Hill has brought darkness to Hip-Hop! Their tracks are straight up gritty, grimy Underground hip-hop! I have been bumping this CD in my car for the past 22 years and it is still dope!
47 years old and I still got the same original Cypress Hill CDs. As a matter of fact I still have the the first two albums. I have the remix unrealesed album and D.J. Muggs first two Soul Assasins albums.
+Joey Brooks I'm 36 and doing the same
+Joey Brooks you know it. there wasn't anything dark like this in the mainstream before black sunday.
+Joey Brooks ,,,57 and doing the same !!
18 years old, born and raised on the Hill, Psycho Realm and all SS Camp affiliate acts. All my family has some sort of tattoo relating to cypress, psycho or the others. getting mine soon.
I'm 62 years old 2023 1970s rock dude I love Cypress Hill
Gen X Hip Hop for Life!!
Im a metal head . I love this band and song it’s so sick .
Bro you should have seen Cypress Hill at the Brixton Academy in 1995. Rap heads and Metal heads were going headbanging crazy in the crowd. Never seen anything like it.
Harmonica samples from The Wizard - Black Sabbath
As a metal head I would also recommend Immortal Technique
@@gmshadowtraders I can only imagine..
Same
that black sabbath sample gives me chills
Wicked world and the wizard
shady hodge the wizard.
I'm just pleased I'm not the only one that noticed :-)
Black sabbath? Wow that's a sad guess
These guys deserve to be inducted in rock and roll hall of fame soon.
Hip a hop
as a hip hop head they need to stop putting rappers in there, just make a new category already XD like its literally called rock n roll
Cypress Hill are not Rock n Roll. Hip Hop Hall of Fame yes.
Cypress Hill We ain't going out like that Blue Bettle DCU roll-up huff and puff. Much Respect!
Black Sunday, one of the greatest masterpieces to ever grace the planet.
I went to live overseas in the mid 90's when I was 11 years old and my cousin made me a Cypress Hill tape to listen to on the plane. I can clearly remember sitting there as a little kid with my walkman on and the bass kicking in on this song and just getting consumed with butterflies and goosebumps, I devoured that tape constantly for months like it was a spiritual experience. Cypress Hill are in a league of their own and I will love them forever
Muggs por vida
lol i never even thought children or millenials were listening to our generation´s music interesting
@@wipsycripsy4170 I'm not sure they are. I think it's mostly middle-aged (and older) people reminiscing lol. But I grew up in the 90s and still listen to Pink Floyd/ Jethro Tull, etc. I couldn't stand listening to only 2000's artists, I'd completely hate music if that's all I ever knew
That feeling of getting goosebumps from music is called frisson.
Frisson, also known as aesthetic chills or musical chills is a psychophysiological response to rewarding auditory and/or visual stimuli that often induces a pleasurable or otherwise positively-valenced affective state and transient paresthesia, sometimes along with piloerection and mydriasis.Wikipedia

I'm here becusse of Blue Beetle. What a dope scene. 🔥🔥🔥
weak video
As a man who prefers staying indoors, this is my jam!
This song, and really most of the Black Sunday album, had THE sickest bass lines of any hip hop album ever. So dope.
I think you would like Funkdoobiest
Cypress always had banging bass lines!
The black Sunday album is one of the best rap albums ever made.
I think you should listen to house of pain
They are so good because they are all sampled from the old school soul, funk and hip hop. They knew exactly what they were doing - take the best and improve it.
Saw Cypress in a club setting 1998, there were probably 1000 people, they opened up with this tune. It was the hypest craziest thing I've ever been involved in. Shocked I made it out alive.
I saw them at Red Rocks at a show called Smokin Grooves
Wycliffe was there and during his set they rolled out a lioness. And singularly me and all my friends convinced them to let us out into the parking lot and back in..... That never happens....... I don't remember a lot of this show 🤣
Just dancing my ass off
Like always at Red Rocks.......
Come on bro, you couldn't go out like that 👍😆
props for the skanker!
48 years old, and this still gets like I'm a teen.
40 here..my daughter, when she was 2, 16 years ago, loved to mosh to Cypress ,Limp and Nirvana ..she thought she was a metal head ,too 🤣the most adorable thing ever..(she doesn't believe me) lol

2024 and still bumping are you with me!!!!
I'm with ya, dope track!!
Even I as a 16 years old german white kid with a too low weed tolerance knew to appreciate this album. Cypress Hill united the world in those days.
This is one of darkest realest tracks from the gold age of hip hop
Mean ass bass with haunting screeches and sick lyrics makes for a big FU to the corrupt system.
I honestly didn't know Cypress Hill, but when he showed me them for the first time I LOVED IT, LONG LIVE CYPRESS HILL ❤🎉
Black Sunday and Enter the 36 Chambers were two of the biggest albums to impact the culture.
93' was a great year for Hip Hop!
86-96 was the best decade. 97 took a big drop in the rap world
Over a quarter of a century ago now.... hip hop today is dead (: say hi to mumble rap

It's like hilarious cartoonish vocal style mixed with hardcore music tracks and subject matter. Genius. I love groups and artist that dare to be unique. Too many take the safe route.

Cypress, cube and the Wu Tang were the greatest realest artists of there times

Welcome to GEN X Hip Hop Kid
I used to listen to this right before I started my job. I just wanted to say thank you to Cypress Hill. I needed you to get thru my working day.
Bass and drums are so tight and fit together like puzzle pieces, that's what a lot of modern rap songs are missing; a groovy, trance-like baseline and a tight drumbeat, both instruments were basically made for each other. Cypress Hill forever
You are so right - well said✌
