Hope you will find this video helpful and please do leave a comment if you want to add any tips based on your experience.
1) You need to book confirmed 1st AC tickets
2) Make sure to book 4 tickets to block one coupe or book 2 tickets and send a request to the railway reservation officer one day in advance asking to allocate 2 coupe
3) You need to either meet the railway reservation officer personally or drop the letter in dropbox.
4) You will receive confirmation SMS 4 hours prior to your departure.
5) Without either of these, you will not be allowed to travel
6) Post confirmation, reach parcel office 2 hours before departure to book your pet
7) Carry tickets, a copy of your ID cards, and a pet fitness certificate which is 48 hours prior to departure.
8) Pay the required money and board the train. Delhi to Bangalore, it was INR 1200/-
9) Take a screenshot of stops to know longer stops to get your dog down to do his business
10) Cary warm clothes, dog food, and water
11) Enjoy the journey

Surprisingly First class AC is not there in many trains. For example from Chennai to Mumbai none of the trains have first AC

Hey I just wanted to know my train is from Bandra terminus mumbai. Where did you submit application for coupe?? Where does cheif reservation officer sits?
@@muskansrivastava8859 hi if you are carrying your pet along with you in the train (First AC Coach) you need to visit the Parcel office of Bandra station 2 days in advance with the an application addressed to the the chief station Manager requesting to allot you a 'Coupe' during your journey. Please ensure your application is attached with the following Xerox copies as well:
* Your reserved journey ticket,
* Your Pet's upto date Vaccination Certificate,
* Vet Doctor's fitness certificate clearly mentioning your Pet is fit to travel with you and lastly
* Your xeroxed Adhaar Card ok
( Please carry the original copies just for their ready reference but don't deposit).
This process doesn't need presence of your Pet as you can just do it alone with the paperwork I mentioned above.

Not only in First AC, even in Non AC First Class dogs can be taken. The other option is guard compartment not luggage section.

I think once TT will see that those seats are vacant and the family members are not gonna come then they will assign those to others. God knows how she book all the tickets and moreover travelled with pet
Even if you are travelling alone with with your dog Can you book 2 ticket blocking the entire coupe? Or will the other seat is allocated to someone else afterwards by TT ?
If the fellow passengers object to the presence of a dog in the train compartment, dogs must travel in the specially designed boxes in the luggage van.

How do we get confirm coupe? Is there any application that needs to be submitted to Railways?
I'm planning a trip with my dog and looking forward to book a coupe for two but when I went to railway station and enquired they said they can't confirm coupe until 2 hours before the departure. But what are the chances that I will be allotted the coupe? What if it get denied is their any else option? And is it easy like to get coupe for 2 if I have confirm tickets?

If you book all 4 seats then you should be fine in first AC. But as there are no standard rules most of the time it depends on railway authorities. I suggest you visit the railway station and have a word with the reservation officer.
Just one question and that is regarding applying through proper application one day before do I need to visit Mumbai Central Station for the same with all valid documents? Kindly guide me on this please!

If you got all 4 tickets in one coupe confirmed message, you can go just before the departure. But the parcel office will be little far from the platform so you hsve to keep the time in mind to reach back also not sure of the wait time at the parcel office.
Even if I book 4 seats, I am not given that I am allocated a cabin.
I m worrying about my pet what happened if I were not get a coupe and we can not send them with gaurd.

Cats are usually allowed in soft carrier bags..but you need to check with bus driver

Hi I just checked with rail enquiry.. They said you need one copy of Id proof one copy of ticket n vaccinations card.. Above two maybe xerox is required to submit at parcel office..

@@unwantedrama Hi Luv. I would call my experience as a mixed one as there was a lot of anxiety involved. Right from booking the tickets on irctc to finally boarding the train, there was ample of ambiguity at every stage. If I have to travel with my pet daughter again, I would prefer a flight this time. Please feel to ask if you have any specific query.

But i have a query actually i booked ticket in Poorbiya Express (15279) this train started from saharsha Junction but I booked my ticket from Hajipur Junction in Bihar. So where i have to submit the application for coupe, the place from where the train start or on the place from where i booked ticket.
Actually it is not possible for me to go saharsha it is very far from my place. So in this case can i mail a request coupe application to the railway along with necessary documents, if there are any such email id of railway.

Since i am traveling alone with my petnin 1st AC, as told by the parcel office, i can't travel alone with the dog even if i book the two tickets for 1st AC since that one extra seat is liable to be given to any b other RAC passenger
No one has right to allocate your extra ticket to others. You can always tell someone is joining in next station or so. Parcel officials has no right first of all. Only TT can do that but he cannot if they the ticket is booked.
Hi Vasu. Did TT create any issues regarding the seat allocation? I have booked four tickets but only me and my wife are travelling with our dog. Though all seats are paid for but still am concerned since you can never be sure with these sarkari guys

Reservation officer won't entertain you personally. There's a drop box hanging outside his office which says "Today's Trains" and "Tomorrow's Trains", you need to drop your application in that box one day prior

Don't be tensed. Just see the train route and take your dog out at stations which have a halt of 5min and more. Pets can only travel in AC1 which is generally the last coach so you can quickly take your pet out at the train tracks

@@hitarthalvir6915 Hi Hitarth. So as expected from the mighty Indian Railways, there's a lot of confusion regarding the tickets. I had booked 4 tickets ( 2 each on mine and my wife's name to ensure we get a cabin) but after speaking to lot of people and also on 139, I was advised that I should cancel 2 tickets as TT might cancel these treating them as "no-show" (However, it's not mentioned anywhere). I tried speaking to the authorities both at Nizamuddin as well NDLS railway stations but they don't even want to talk to you, let alone help you. So all I can do now is pray and hope that I get the coupe (which I'll only get to know 4 hours before the departure). I'm due to travel next week. Will certainly update you how it goes. When are you travelling?

Indian railways work typically like a government organisation, so yes you need to drop the application, though that still won't guarantee a cabin/coupe but it's still better than not dropping an application at all

@@pinkpebbletravels Caluses and over-weight are 2 things which are caused by ignorance. It is not caused by anything internal so if you really care for your dog a 100%, this won't happen. And I don't need to know history for this.
My dog works out a lot, has health issues but paws, elbows and weight are always on check.
