would be my dream to follow them around for a day or two during production. Seeing them doing post all the way from beginning to end. Imagine how much one can learn from that. just by watching and seeing how they work.
Also depends on the humidity. My brother was in Las Vegas for a week or two. It was 110+ there every day, but it was very dry. He felt fine. He came back and it was only mid 80's but with high humidity. He complained it felt hotter than it did in Vegas as he sweated buckets. :D
Those masks are bad ass. From the looks of them they seem to be heavily modified welding helmets. If they are not the head gear was used from a welding helmet. Whatever the case they rock and I wish I had one of those when I'm welding. Oh and yes those masks (possible modified welding helmets) are not easy to breath in sometimes and I could never imagine running around while wearing one. Props to the actors and once again great video.
Sauna can actually be 110C warm if you want it to be that high. Normally tho it's usually around 80 degrees, give or take. At least here in Finland that is, home of sauna.
This s*** is so good - way better than any shoot 'em ups on TV and most movies. Chill, RyanCeezy - the guys are just having fun - their look is part of the coolness; it's like "Every Man" in action sequences - not always the slick six-pack action dudes. You see in 'Takedown that they can choose to use the killers when they want to. I wish there was a weekly half hour - or even fifteen minute "show" like this - just a buttlaod of action and minimal yapping.
good educated guess, but there is a difference in sitting still and working out in temperature. The core temperature rises much slower, and at that intense heat you don't sweat profusely, either. Reason one, is that you can only sweat a certain amount, but in addition, there is steam in the sauna, which makes your skin wet, hindering excessive sweating. But, the 100 C is usually if you sit higher up. At floor level it's cooler, depending on the size of the room.
Same here in Arizona. Well, kind of. It's quite muggy right now. Hot temperatures and a humid atmosphere are a horrible horrible mix. It's like living in the North East without all the clouds and more sun.
My best guess about it is that they worked with DevinSuperTramp and the Airborne Creed staff, so I think they had the chance to use one of the tanks. For more, search for "Camera Warfare" and "FreddieW and the Last Crusade". They're on Devin's channel
it depends. here in Kansas its been like 100+ degrees and its hot, yes, but get it to like 90 with bad humidity and i give up and stay inside for the rest of the day. screw humidity
A sauna can reach temperatures of close to 200 degrees, but since the air is around 10% humidity, it actually feels comfortable and has many healing properties. But if the air is 90% humidity, then the safe temperature is more like around 110 degrees. So maybe a better question to ask is: At what temperature and humididty combinations are humans capable of surviving?
Freddiew that was awesome! You did miss a simple thing (simple for you that is), when they're dragging the "boss" in the beginning, he doesn't have any blood on his chest.. Other than that, it was frikking awesome! When will you make a wicked feature with kickass action? :D Keep it up!!
Very Nice Video! Really was great and the fact that you got the actual masks makes it totally legit xD. One thing though...where was the blood the cartel leader's white shirt? xD Cheers
Okay, I don't want to hear you complain about 90 degree weather being hot. I live smack dab in the middle of Oklahoma and the high this year? broke our record of 114. Don't even talk about how 90 degrees is hot. I would have LOVED it to be in that kind of weather this summer. Count your blessings man. You're a lot more well off than anyone in Oklahoma.
Last time I checked... 110°C is about 230°F, above waters boiling point. 230°F steam would most likely cause 3rd degree burns. If your core body temp goes past 108, I think that's lethal, not including homeostatic processes.
The tank is a modified Sherman to look like a Panzer. Might have been used in "Enemy at the Gates" which used such modified Shermans to represent Panzer IV's
Hey its D 2:12
i wonder where they got the tank
dude its most likely cgi
Games bond nope its real
3d model
bluewolf 37
Ea supply depo
MAXPOWER879 it was part of the set they were filming at
This guy is my legit inspiration. Its videos like this that make we wanna get out there and make the best films possible.
Nice to see behind the scenes footage. Keep up the good work guys and thumbs up Action Factory too!
90 degrees is NOTHING for us in SoCal.
hey its D! LOL started from the bottom
its a picture i think
These two guys really looked like they knew what they were doing in the video gun wise. Gun control, reloads, tactics looked great. Well done.
would be my dream to follow them around for a day or two during production. Seeing them doing post all the way from beginning to end. Imagine how much one can learn from that. just by watching and seeing how they work.
Congrats on 1 million subscribers !
Dude that vid was epic!
dude army of two is the best video on youtube absolutely EVER!!
Woah you filmed it all by yourself Freddiew? That was just awesome, I think this is one of my favorites so far. Awesome camera takes.
Great call, I really did love VGHS.
I am a huge fan of you're video's!
Please Freddie, make a running series of "Army of Two". That would be sick! Or have random missions for them once in a while, this video was AMAZING!
i truly love your work. i wish to be as good as you

I love the "Adopt a dire wolf" tee!
Freddie and Brandon were in Austin, TX a couple months back for the Rooster Teeth Expo where they were the key note speakers.
Same here, hopefully this winter will be different
Haven't AF just stepped the action up since they came aboard!
Best match up.
True dat. I was just in Northern Sonora this summer. 118 in the shade.

I laughed so much at the pwnisher intro :))
90 degree weather? Sounds awesome. I live in Texas, it's freakin hundred here.
Freddie with the Threadless tee....nice.
Awesome points for the DIrewolf shirt! G.O.T!!!!
Same in Arizona. 90 degrees is jacket weather.
Let's give this guy a cookie for being a badass
Where I live, it's been about 80-90s for the past three months.
It can get quite warm here during the Summer.
Agreed. It was done well.
fredie, man... i think that the best word for describe u is AWESOME, what u do... man i love it, stay like now ^-^
Sauna can actually be 110C warm if you want it to be that high. Normally tho it's usually around 80 degrees, give or take. At least here in Finland that is, home of sauna.
I think I like the behind the scenes more than the actual videos these days.

I'm sure, my cousins came up from Florida, it was like 65 degrees, a awesome beach day up here, most of them wore sweatshirts and jeans
Every film set I have been on has had subway as one of the meals provided by craft services. I don't mind that much.
awesome!!!

I'd really like to see an updated equipment video with what cameras, computers, software etc. they use
i live in ireland where it has rained almost every day this summer, i wish i could complain about how hot it is!!!
hahahaa i was thinking the same thing "i was like man i wish we got 90 here because it would feel nice and cool" lol
i like this new style
it depends. here in Kansas its been like 100+ degrees and its hot, yes, but get it to like 90 with bad humidity and i give up and stay inside for the rest of the day. screw humidity

that last thing freddy said about oxygen made this video 3x more interesting

you just won the internet!!
GOSH DANG IT!! YOU SHOT AT MELODY RANCH?!?! FRICKIN MY AUNT AND UNCLE OWN THAT PLACE!

Keep it up!!
That's why I live in England - Hottest day of summer and it's fully cloudy and pissing it down.
Also in arizona its been over 110 for a few days
Agreed.
I wanna see more post production!
yes lad ^^ we get rain and then the occassional heat wave and then some more rain
In Alberta -5 Celsius is jacket weather... +10 is pretty much shorts and a t-shirt worthy
I just assumed it was Freddiew's awesome skills!
I enjoyed Clint's informative story about popsicles. haha
I went to Texas on my vacation a few weeks ago and DAMN WAS IT HOT!
Lucky you I wish it would rain more here where I live.
Very Nice Video! Really was great and the fact that you got the actual masks makes it totally legit xD. One thing though...where was the blood the cartel leader's white shirt? xD Cheers
WOW look at ALL the people involved, I want to make someone this epic but just with me and my friend... go us girls!!
2:32 complaining about 90 degrees? lol :) it's 100+ every day here in Texas. Awesome Video!

RATED RR Shirt!! Yes!!

You make it sound like 90 degrees is hot. It's 100 here in MD and it's got 80% humidity
I just Saw KWA!
Sweet :)
Same with those who live in AZ. 120F and so dry that you can't even sweat fast enough to get any cooling.
This game rocks no doubt.
That's why I live in Canada. On a hot summer day my igloo won't even melt.
Sweet video
It gets below -40 where I live in the Winter, and over 100 F in the Summer. D:
Freddie's shirt looks like kurt's wolfie seal of approval
Chicago too!!!
Me Too
great vid :)
They said some of it was shot at Meledy Ranch in the beginning of the video.
Yes! :D
The tank is a modified Sherman to look like a Panzer. Might have been used in "Enemy at the Gates" which used such modified Shermans to represent Panzer IV's
Too right, when you can't think or breath you know it's too hot down here.
They like them, they like them back, it's a win win.
agreed as well.
lol, 90f outside was a relief for us
In the video, I couldn't tell if that was a real tank or not, but this answered my question haha
in canada its -9001 and its sooooo warm im just chillin in my igloo
Ive met freddie twice and he's one cool dude :)
Denmark too.
I tend to think 105 is a nice respite, we're usually at 125 where I live. On the other hand I start getting cold when it gets down to 70...
exactly
Very nice gun sounds, are they from a sound library?
Are you kidding? That was a great read before bed.
110C is the temperature used in sauna world championship, and yeah its freaking hot.
90F is 32C. not too bad... in summer for australia it can get up to around 45C
WISCONSIN!!!!!
(I live in WI too...)
