While Turkey hunting, the videographer noticed a Bobcat in the distance, and got out his phone to record the rarely seen animal. He thinks the phone looked like "the eyes of a meal," because the bobcat changed its positioning and began to "stalk" the phone in the hands of the camouflaged human. Here is the result! There were no injuries sustained as it did not seem the cat wanted to harm him.
I think the bobcat came close to confirm if the guy was filming vertically, once he confirmed it, that got him mad and he attacked.

You were camouflaged and he couldn't tell what you were. He just knew "something" was there and what he could see probably looked small enough to be prey. Scared him when he saw that you were larger than he thought.

Where I live bobcat season is not open in spring turkey season, probably why he didnt shoot it, but when it came in stalking ,he should have known it wasnt gonna end very well

William Hollman Once I was squatting down with my binoculars watching birds when a fisher came out of the woods about 15-20' away. It was very cool, but I wasn't interested in surprising it at arms-length. I stood up, it ran off. I was thinking the same thing as you watching this… When a wild cat crouches and it's tale is twitching, it's time to scare it off before it's on your leg!

I'm surprised the bobcat attacked a human I've never heard of that happening before. I could see if the bobcat was cornered or felt threatened but I guess there's a lot of hunters out there that have a lot of stories to tell about such a thing happening.
