BMW 7 SERIES how to replace parking sensors PDCs easy fix DIY

A very simple DIY: to replace, clean using contact cleaner or swaping bads with good ones. Please note that the the rear ones cannot be replaced by the forward one due to different sliding rails inside the wire socket, in my 2006 730d. it might be possible with other models. I just swapped my bad one from left rear corner with a good one at right inner spot and cleaned all sensor contacts. Now the sensors are much better and more reliable.

1. put ignition on 2. put car in reverse 3. get out and put your ear to the sensors. if you can hear them click they are usually good no clicking = bad sensor

Thanks for video. Please help if somebody knows how to diagnose a bad sensor. I have one bad sensor in front side, but dont know wchich one. how to solve?

a good diagnostic software tells you exactly which sensor is bad and which ix intermittently faulty. They are cheaply available on eBay around 10 pounds.
