Thank you for this. I feel that YHWH brought me out of the JW Watchtower cult but since then I do not feel like he has "spoken" to me. I do not feel the Holy Spirit. I do not know what I am doing wrong. I have started to partake of the bread and wine. I have not been re-baptized. Why do I not feel the Holy Spirit?
I always hear people saying JW is a cult church, what exactly happens in there that people view it as such? Don't they do things like everyone else? I am genuinely curious, I always saw them in my country and they seemd to read the Bible more than anyone so I actually thought they were more closer to God than most churches... Anyways for your issue, have you not suspected that maybe you were mistaken in thinking that he wanted you to change churches? OR that maybe now that you are safe he watches over you from afar..? B4 I was saved, I felt him too amd repented and joined a church and he went silent, I too was puzzled and wondered, "did I join the wrong church, isn't church just church..." but later told myself that since I was no longer in the path of darkness he doesn't feel the need to continually send messages.🤷🏽♀️
@@thabuneni26nxaa Thank you for asking. They know Bible versus VERY well but take most out of context. Why do a lot of us ExJW think they are a cult? This is going to be a long answer. Generally a cult follows one charismatic leader. When that leader dies there is usually a power struggle until the next leader emerges and sometimes you end up with off shouts of the group. The Watchtower has overcome that problem with their Governing Body (GB). Currently there are 8 men on that body but it acts as one entity (that way as the die and add to the group there is no breaking off or power struggles). There is a video on JW.org broadcasting (they started their own 'tv' channel in 2015) where one member of the GB says "Jehovah and Jesus completely trust the GB, shouldn't you?" They have printed in their literature that if the GB ask us do something "that does not make sense to human reasoning, will we still be obedient?" If you choose to love obey and trust Jesus and Jehovah but not the GB they will disfellowship you. Once you are disfellowshipped all those you love who are still in the Watchtower are to have no contact with you. If you see them in the grocery store they will ignore or not even say hi, likely they 'run' the other way. When you are baptized, you are baptized into the organization (org). The org will changes it teaching on doctrines but you must stay loyal. If they change a teaching and you do not agree with it you better keep it to yourself. If you talk to others about it you will be reported to the Elder (the group is encourage to 'rat' on each other as it is the only way to spiritually help them). Once the elders talk to you, you better say Oops my bad, I get it now, or they will start to take away privilege's, mark you in a talk and eventually disfellowship you. Any one still inside who continues to have dealings with a disfellowshipped individual could be subject to discipline themselves up to and including being disfellowshipped themselves. They use FOG- Fear, Obligation and Guilt to keep people compliant. See also a book by Steven Hassan about the BITE model. This org controls your Behavior, Information ( you are to read only the spiritual material they provide), Thought and Emotions. When a loved one is disfellowshipped even if your own child you are not to mourn them. I could go on and on about various family abuse, their no blood doctrine and other things that will get you automatically kicked out if you do them but this is already very long. Search exjw channels there are 20+, look at jwsurvey.org, jwfacts.com. It is a cult. Protect yourself and the ones you love.

Read, study and obey God’s Word. Study it, memorise it, obey it. That’s where God is revealed- in His Word - that’s where he talks to us, and we talk back to Him in prayer.
So read, study and obey God’s word and speak back God in prayer.
