We have a Ridgeback Dachshund mix now. He is an amazing dog.
I used to have a rescue that was part Rotti and part Norwegian ridgeback one of the scariest looking and fastest dogs i have ever seen or owned
Beautiful dog great breed
Ridgebacks are the best dog ever
Beautiful dogs
thank you!
Classic Rhodie stare-down. I had one that would knock me down. Raise one eyebrow, he was coming full speed.
Seriously, I was literally waiting for his rocket launch 😭
What a well trained doggo! I love this breed. So smart and loyal! Absolutely fearless, too.
Thank you! They are the best indeed!
Greetings from Florida 🐬 Awesome Dogs 🐶 Thank You 🙏 for Sharing 💕
Thanks for visiting
My girl Bella, she was fast, fast, fast! Grew into a wonderful, very tolerant older dog. She would sure take over my bed..😅
My japanese Akita has that aswell but its covers his whole back and shoulders, I Love the look of ridgebacks too.
Thanks for sharing! Love Akitas!
As a kid we had 4 they the best dogs anyone could have .....very good around kids and excellent hunting dogs
😂 that was the best lion impression I’ve ever seen
Used to work with an LTC that had two. Used to bring them to the office occasionally. Great dogs.
They are The best Dogs in the world Because I Had One For 9 years
they truly are!
I grew up with nothing but ridgebacks. Amazing family and hunting dogs.
they are awesome!
Had to ridgebacks Marley and Kingston, when the kids were growing up. Greatest Dogs ever
you are right!
Got followed home by a ridgeback once. We had a big enough yard so we just let him hang out. A few days later he was gone. Godspeed, Knucklehead.
oh nice!
My father in law had a ridgeback. It died last year. They are very loyal and gentle dogs. But if someone attacks their owner the gentle is gone. A neighbor had a pit-bull that attacked them when they were walking. It didn’t go well for the pit. But they aren’t fast just like this video shows. lol
hahah....so true! they can turn really quickly!
I've got a Ridgeback Dachshund mix that is a rocket. He is faster than the two full Ridgebacks we previously had. He can also tear a king ball up. We have a hard time finding chew toys he can't destroy.
that sounds fast!

Sehr schön. .. Hunde am rockern ❤
I had the pleasure of walking one of these on a sponsored walk for a rescue center, all i will say is they can bloody walk 😂❤
Greatest dog I ever owned, Ridgeback Cur !
My twin Polish Tatras play this way. When their big sister comes they get the picture she doesn’t want to play and if she does she just lies down, watches, or lets them jump all over her and she will take a nap.
These ridgebacks are incredibly smart babies.
I used to live in Zambia and because the ridge is such a dominant gene , most dogs there seemed to have a ridge !
I was lucky God blessed me with two of these. Brothers from different litters best friends I ever had!
An amazing breed of dog. I love em
