How To Draw Green Lantern by Evan Burse. Wanna learn how to draw Green Lantern? I'll show you step-by-step on how to do it. It's fun to draw the Emerald Knight.
As y'all know, I usually don't do this but I feel like the timing is right for me to expand in 2011. Mark Crilley is somebody I've always wanted to collaborate with and is also the first person I've ever approached in this manner. Let's see if we can get his attention. And somehow if we don't, then we gotta keep working; life goes on :) Mad respect to Mark for showing us that we ALL can be artists!

Evan. I know this is an old old post. I've been watching you since sit tight after thus post. I respect what you did by reaching out to someone you admire and would like to work with or learn from. It's hard to do because people act so Hollywood with a lull bit of pub and a platform everyone is a superstar in their mind. Thanks for reminding me to be humble always and that one of the greatest tenets of art is to maintain that childlike curiosity humility and always pay it forward. Deuces, you're one of the realest and I'm better having watched your videos.

I was watching this & I realized how awesome it would be if Evan did a video drawing the John Stewart Green Lantern. He's my favorite GL & we def need a good tutorial for him in an action pose.
I like how you said that an artist is never really finished, you're always going back and changing things, but sometimes i feel that if you mess with it too much it kinds ruins it, there's a fine balance there.

Despite that I believe your heart is in the right place, afterall you have three kids to feed and are taking art courses, I imagine you want to be able to do this full time so a boost would be needed.

im the best artist in my school and im 10 years old ill be 11 on 27 october. you taught me alot of the stuff i know!
@pedrosantossilva1 prisma has been known(as far as i know)to blend VERY well and bleed less. while regular colors have been known to bleed alot. as for the colored pencial differences you gotta try and see for yourself kas i cant really see the difference

The original green lantern was actually called Alan Scott he was mentored by Hal Jordan and had a completely different costume :)

I miss the Green Lantern that was on the Justice League from Cartoon Network...never been a Marvel fan but that show actually interested me enough to really make me sit down and watch, xD
You inspire me
Best thing to do is practice. Take a page of paper and just draw nothing but circles and keep practicing. The more you draw it the better proportioned they'll be and the easier it'll get.

@nachotube8 You are right! And wrong! There are many Green Lanterns. There is a black Green Lantern as well, but the Green Lantern is originally white.
