Lakshadweep is not just Agati, It has 36 islands .It is in Arabian sea. Equally beautiful islands are there in Andaman and Nicobar which is in Indian ocean. India has total of 1208 islands !!.
Kerala is not just backwaters. Entire Kerala is beautiful. The back water region which is known as Kuttanad is at below mean sea level by 2m!!!. The boats in backwaters are known as houseboats. It has bedrooms, kitchen, etc. Kerala is known as God's own country. I am from Kerala :).

Kashmir bilkul 100% waisa nahi hai jo aap log soch rahe ho.... I've been there a few times. Jo lake aapne dekhi wo Srinagar ki Dal-lake hai jo 40-45 kms. ke area me spread hai. Sirf wahi pe house-boats hoti hein doosri lakes me nahi. Shops bhi usi lake ke house-boat me hein. Baaki ke Srinagar city me normal shops and malls hein jahan se sab log shopping karte hein. Not only shops but hotels, schools, colleges, offices, banks, Railway station, airport etc. sab hai Srinagar me. Also Kashmir UT me Jammu se lekar Veshno-Devi, Ksheer-Bhavani, Kishtwad, Pehalgaam, Sonemerg, Gulmerg, Baramulla, Dachigham National Park etc. kai other tourist places hein jahan log ghoomne jate hein aur stay bhi karte hein.
