I read the title 3 times thinking that it said "God, damn Lindelof is annoying" wondering if that comma was grammatically allowed to be in between God and damn. Then I realize it said Damon.
Are all the comments saying "I remember when cologne humor was funny" and "bring back the old CH videos" an inside joke? Or is it a group of people who are blindly saying it because they saw others say it?
I think it started off as legitimate criticism but now has turned more into a joke. The creators have even recognized it at the end of one of the videos.

I'm laughing because I totally get the feeling. I watched all of Alias and was equally frustrated with that show. So when Lost started after Alias ended and I realized it had a similar vibe and included the same creators I said "Nope, not gonna watch this. The mysteries will go nowhere, take forever and have an unsatisfying ending." And by all accounts I was right, I felt like freaking Nostradamus! :) (That's an Alias joke, but I'm probably the only one who gets it so never mind....)
I don't know how many comments you guys are actually able to read and so I don't know if you'll ever see this, but I called you out on making too many videos that were too obvious in their marketing a couple months ago. Your videos have really been great since then and I as a fan I really appreciate it. Keep making great videos

Lost was terrible. I watched the whole thing expecting some revelation that would make sense of everything, then it ended without any explanation of wtf had been going on the whole time. The explanation I heard that makes the most sense was that the main writer was contracted to the show but wanted out, so he wrote the most fucked up story he could think of to get fired. However, the show was a hit and he had to keep writing lol.
Prometheus almost had me screaming at the screen it was so annoying. The dumbest most inconsistent characters ever and they were supposed to be scientists. The movie feels like it was made up on the spot and they were constantly forgetting what happened in the last scene. I don't say this lightly, I love Ridley Scott and Alien, but this movie really sucked.
Prometheus was not actually a good movie.. But Lindelof wasn't to blame. The initial script he wrote was pretty much the same as the final one exept it answered most of the questions and the characters in it were better. For example: the scientists acted like actual scientist and the main character's boyfriend wasn't some drunk douchebag and the love they felt for each other felt genuine rather than forced.

And the writers have always said that they had some form of answer for every question they introduced in the show, even if that answer was only fairly vague at the time they wrote it. (And the show supports that notion.)

I wonder why he didn't call it "Watchmen" since it has as much to do with Alan Moore's masterpiece as his current show that goes by that name.
I haven't watched Lost but the unknown in The Leftovers was the point. The show wasn't about the departure but about the hopelessness and uncertainty it causes. If they had given an explanation for it then they would ruin the show

I just thought a better story line: the eye patch guy was "trapp's" guide, and would sometimes appear with a new answer to a secret puzzle. 84 or whatever was a code to open the box with the mirror and inside the box was another clue, and part of his lunch. This kept going on with more puzzles and clues and lunch until all the food parts were together and he could finally enjoy his lunch.
Glad I came to Lost kinda late, after I had heard so many people yell about none of the mysteries paying off. Then I could just force myself to not care to much about them and just enjoy Terry O'Quinn, all the daddy issues, and how insanely hot they all were.

Prometheus was a great movie that gave alot of insight into the alien universe. Finally explains to us who the engineers are and their purpose.
