    • @huldu
      @huldu 10 місяців тому +1

      That sounds really bad. I don't think you're going to get rid of them anytime soon as they spread quite quickly. Insects are so hard to deal with once they get a foothold. It makes me wonder why now all of the sudden have they started appearing in US? We can obviously blame people for this but even with that in consideration it "should" have happened long ago? Something has to be different today. It could be that someone is breeding them out of sight for whatever reason. I don't think you'd get such a big infestation from just a single queen being in a container or similar. That would take so many years before you'd even start noticing them especially if they hang out in forests.

    • @joshuariddensdale2126
      @joshuariddensdale2126 10 місяців тому +3

      @@huldu Yes. The northeast is literally infested with another invasive insect, the Spotted Lanternfly. Which also came from eastern Asia. First appearing in Pennsylvania in 2014, they've spread rapidly. Every state on the eastern seaboard has them now, and they multiply like you wouldn't believe.

      Just remember something .. don't humanize something that isn't a human
      A hornet is that, a hornet, a living creature with a different mind and purpouse frome the other species as all the other ones.
      We as human's we try to empathize with other species but we commit the error of think that they can feel and think as us... But they don't. Every animal is inteligent, but not very much or even no one at all have conciousnes like us, they do not know what is being evil, they don't know what is good or bad in a moral way, they only know the good or bad for their own survival, for the survival of the colony, their species.
