- Muslim speakers should acknowledge that the fitna and desire for wealth and money are the second and third biggest temptations of the triangle of temptations: women, wealth and fame. Hence, they should read this article with a positive mind-set while seeking to improve and rectify their shortcomings. To illustrate what we are talking about, what follows are some unfortunate examples of the wrong practices that are becoming more and more common when Dawah organisations invite speakers to deliver Islamic courses or lectures.

A lot of ppl start out but the fame from what I can see almost certainly changes ppl.
If an imam leads Salah in the mosque or even Tarawih and they get paid for it I don’t see the issue they need to earn a living. As long as the imam doesn’t ask for ridiculous amount of money even if giving dawah in the mosque. He needs to learn a living that’s his job as long as his intentions is for the sake of allah as allah knows best.

If there comes news to you of a brother, then look into the matter and confirm with evidence. It is not enough to say I heard. The fact that you have commented here with “I heard” without confirming, you have already risked a brother’s honour without confirmation. My advise to you, delete the comment, look into the matter, confirm, then recomment with evidence. Otherwise this type of commenting is dangerous for us. May Allah guide us to that which pleases Him, and may he forgive us all aameen, my dear brother in islam.

A lot of these ‘dawah’ carriers and speakers including influencers are nothing but business men, this includes the likes of mufti menk etc. it’s shocking they have made the deen a means of business
If thats the case, why even call such scumbags for such causes. People like qari ayub asif does qiraat for public for many thousands of pounds. I heard some 6 figures from Egypt, not sure he's part of that but yes, they wont come unless they are well and truly compensated.
Such charities I ask for receipts to show us how the money is used etv, many don't respond and some block

To be fair im not against someone who requests business class and then has to speak or do something somewhat "taxing" for Islamic purposes , after their flight. Taraweeh especially is understandable.
I mean that is why business class exists, so business men can do their work and be relaxed before attending meetings, summits etc in other countries. Sure it has extortionate prices but it serves a purpose.
Of course once again this is upon the Neeyah of the person but we should never be assuming Neeyah and do our due diligence before accusing.
If the organisation wants to pay out of their own pocket for these pampared sheikh then that's upto them but to use charity money or donations to cover these ridiculous costs is a different matter especially when it's not announced when collecting donations.
@@kutsc3792 Organisations need charity money to stay afloat. They did some Islamic gymnastics to try and use charity money for third parties they might employ to do their work, however it should be obvious that a part of the charity donations they receive are used for their administration costs and this may mean flying over a sheikh or two in business class at times.
