When my heart is right and I tune into Krishna Das, I find him constantly humorous and wise. I adore the service of his singing and his surrendered way of life. I also love the accessibility of his thought. Nothing fancy, nothing stratospheric in his way of loving himself in love with God.
By Grace I found Be Here Now in 2009 at boarders. Read it front to back many times. Bought and gave away many copies as it was a beautiful talking point and I felt it was a key to something I was seeking. It was the initial seed planted. Many years of ups and downs later with little practices i found Krishna das. It was 2020, i was in prison. I found these workshop audios on the tablet. These workshops saved me. I began a mental repetition of the names. I made it thru. And I'm continuing my practice. Little each day. Sometimes I wake up with the names repeating Radhe Radhe Radhe Shyam Govinda Radhe jai Sri Radhe. By his Grace
Happy Mother Durga Navratri. Goddess Durga, the feminine in different forms is worshipped, that's what different forms of Goddess Durga represent. On the 8th or 9th day, small girls believed to be representation of goddess Durga are called at homes, their feet are washed, food is offered to them and we take their blessings by touching feet. I bow down the divine within you. Namaste 🙏🏻
