Greetings from Malaysia. I was there as undergrad 1979-1982 and continued grad study until 1986! I was there when lowa State receved the first ever (l think…) post-season invitation to play at National Invitational Tournament! To see them at the current level is simply amazing!!!
Live and forgive…it was a total sh**show and an embarrassment. But damn those teams were something. Glad Larry is doing better and I’m sure no one regrets mistakes more than him but sooo glad to see him welcomed back!
The Cyclones need a 3rd reliable 3-pt shooter other than Curtis and Milan. I'd like to see Heise take more 3's and be more involved offensively. TJ is playing a 4-guard rotation at times with Jefferson being the lone big; Curtis is the only 3-pt threat, that's a weakness in a 4-guard lineup.
we're gonna lose some games this season. losses help, they dont hurt. rankings dont matter that much. We shouldn't get our panties in a bunch because we lose to a team we should beat like texas tech. the big 12 is stacked and a very long, hard marathon to the end of the season.
So glad to see Larry come back to close that chapter with joy. He made some really serious errors, but the Register came after him with every gun blazing as well. As far as I'm concerned, the national championship game of 2000 was the Final Eight game against Michigan State. The Cyclones gave MSU their only close team of the whole tournament...and Izzo got some help from the refs.

I haven't seen the dominates of the 2000 team yet, but they certainly have the talent & depth. Getting the Serbian sniper going is critical.

Thats not who he is anymore. I'm glad they honored this group!
@30:00 😂 That reminds me of the Impractical Jokers show when Joe punished Sal with a tattoo of Jaden Smith on his thigh (loser's punishment).
I liked Larry. Didn't like what he did but should have gotten a second chance. I was here at age 50.
I think part of the allure of the 99/00 team was that they weren’t expected to be that good.
Starks Tattoo is your guy for when Cyclones go 20-0, Blum!

Larry was a absolute embarrassment to the university and the fan base. I can’t believe they brought him back.
Time heals all wounds, cowboy.
I completely agree. Unfortunately, to avoid a trial, ISU settled with Eustachy for $950,000
