I actually did the nightmare while f2p, just needed some mil armour and like 2-3 guns. I think he's kinda showcasing the rewards more here where you can easily trade like 2 sets of armour and maybe 6-7 guns for a purple card or tactical backpack. It's a good event.
Idk why ldoe creators do that but so many do it. Their base will have every paid item, steel rooms and like you said a full inventory of heavily modded guns 😂😂
It's worth it for a guaranteed ATV transmission, tactical backup, level III dogs, those items that needs luck to get especially for f2p. Better if you have access to raid to stock on guns and if you are grinding bunker A regularly
