They tried to do a hero shooter moba with BattleBorn but that released when Overwatch did so it was heavily shadowed. It was actually pretty good tbh

Battleborn was one of my favorite games. On top of the moba it had the PvE side of the game. MOBAs and looter shooters are two of my fav genres. I miss it every day

It’s a MOBA with hero shooter elements. Nothing close to Paladins.

I honestly am not enjoying this wave of smite. I don’t think snowball metas are fun. As the winning side it doesn’t feel engaging because you can now the enemy team down without much effort. That’s not fun. As the losing side you’re getting stomped and that’s frustrating.
I don’t know why HiRes is seeming to embrace this style of game. They’re even pushing it into smite 2. This seems to be one of the most divisive changes in smites recent history and smite does not need to be divided right now.

What hi rez needs to do to get more players is make player tournaments like your twitchy league and offer cash prizes. Instead of making deals with nickelodeon to bring skins you'll get more people in if you're offering money to just play good
