Lovely video Jason! It's cool to see the atmosphere of the event! Nice white pine and pot you got yourself too. Hopefully I will be able to make the next one in Sept!
Thanks Adam 🙏 It was a great event and cool t catch up and have a pub lunch after with Xav and Alex. Lots of other bonsai UA-camrs and well known faces there too.
That was a lovely glimpse of the event and it was a pleasure meeting up with you and Alex and having a little lunch afterwards. Thank you for your generosity Jason. You forgot to mention that I commented on Tony Tickles Incredible Bonsai by mentioning it was in a 'nice pot' :)
Thank you Jason for sharing your experience at such an amazing show I don’t anger time ability to travel to shows so I really appreciate you sharing your experience
I believe there possibly is some discussions going on to see if this can be salvaged. It would be a real shame if the event yesterday was the very last one.
Now I don’t feel so bad for missing today, looked like a great event! Your pot and tree purchase are amazing. Thanks for sharing the journey with us I’m staying tuned for the giveaway 😁
There will be at least 8 chances to win 👍 Not everyone will see the draw video, and of those that do - not everyone will enter. Your odds could be like 8 out of 500. Good luck 🤞 Onwards to 10k
Amazing, thanks for filming this Jason. Lovely pot and bobsai purchase. I missed it 😢it would be nice if the venue is closer to train station to commute.
It was very cramped. I think this event has grown rapidly and been a victim of its own success. Hopefully an alternative venue can be found for next year.
I was glad I came but it was a bit of a scrum. All of the display trees were fantastic, but Caz Bonsai's Shohin did it for me. I also got a couple of Walsall Ceramics pots and three very nice Japanese Maples from the nursery. Worth the 2 hour drive.
I believe it has become a bit of a victim of its own success and combined with the smaller venue space may have outgrown this venue. I definitely appreciate the organisers have difficulty out decisions to make balancing costs against available local spaces and needs for parking etc I wonder if there might be something that could be done involving sponsors.I’d be happy to chip in a couple of hundred pounds from my own pocket to help keep the event running successfully so others can enjoy it.
I checked the events calendar on the FOBBS (Federation of British Bonsai Societies) website. There are a handful of smaller, local club events and a bonsai display as part of Hyper Japan Show at Olympia, London on 19-21st July.

Thanks for the video Jason, love your purchases!!!
Thank you Nigel. Sadly this could have been the last time this event happens, which would be a real shame.

Excellent Jason and I’d also like to thank the organisers of the show we had a great day, it was super to meet you and also Xavier, all the best.
And you too Mark. 👍
nice bonsai show
So nice of you
Video da cui imparare tanto. Grazie di condividere il Tuo sapere. Bravo!
🙏
Your new pine tree is stunning! I think you're right about the color of the new pot setting off the deshojo colors. Excellent choice.
Thanks so much Susan! It is quite a bit oversized but the tree will grow into the pot nicely in no time.😊
Once again Jason, beautiful video, and perfect music. Pick Me, Pick ME!!!!!!!
Ha ha. I’d give a free pot to every viewer but it would bankrupt me 🤗😂😂
Full details of the draw as we approach 10k… lots of chances to win.
Now I want Jason to pick you too.
No favouritism 😂

Omitted mentioning it to get you off the hook. Damning with faint praise indeed 😂😂😂

Great video Jason. Gutted I’ll never get to go 🥲

Thank you for the video Jason, your new Japanese white pine is beautiful and lovely pot as well.
Thank you too!
Thanks for your kind words about my Prunus Spinosa Jason, great video and yeh I love your pot too!
Looks an awful lot like that pot your tree is in Tony 😉

Definitely had you in mind my friend as I was filming this. Glad you enjoyed it. 🙏
How exciting!
I know the odds are slim that I might win one of those pots, but I am very much looking forward to it!!

stunning trees
They are! That twisty juniper is also incredible.
Great stuff mate, fantastic to meet you today🌳
Thank you. Great to meet you too. 👍
👍👌🙂
👍👍🙏
Saw you at the show but I didn't get chance to pop over and say hello. There were some great trees there. And I agree, the blackthorn stood out!
Sorry we didn’t get to meet. And that tree was beautiful in its mass of delicate white blossom.
that blackthorn jumped out at me as soon as you showed it. It was crying out Japan.
The video doesn’t do it justice here Andrew. It was beautiful.
Excellent video Jason. It was great to see you today
Thanks Alex and very much enjoyed your company and laughter today. 👍
Mate great to meet you fella, you’re such a dude, be cool to catch up again soon
@MeadowViewBonsai and you too 👍
(And Alex is a cool dude too 😝😂😂)
Nice video. I must try to get over to one of these events because we don't have very many over here in Ireland
There are plenty of big events on the FOBBS website with dates. I’m lucky that this one is so close to me.
Thanks . I will check it out.
Pretty sure I would go broke - Fas!
I had to set a budget and stick to it. 😂
@@TheBonsaiGarden very wise
Amazing ,veerygood
Thanks 🙏
Amazing,thanks for filming this Jason.
Lovely pot and bobsai purchase.
I missed it 😢it would be nice if the venue is closer to train station to commute.
I can appreciate it might be a bit awkward for people not driving. 😊
Missed it, there's been a lot going on lately. Looked busy and if it was more cramped than last time maybe I'm ok not being there.

Glad you were able to make it Nick.
Great event. It's time to expand to a bigger venue though!

Are there any events in July? I may be in town...
I checked the events calendar on the FOBBS (Federation of British Bonsai Societies) website. There are a handful of smaller, local club events and a bonsai display as part of Hyper Japan Show at Olympia, London on 19-21st July.
Why is there no Jade at the show?
Hmmmm let me think…
