Bonnie I love your laughter! As I started watching your channel a while back, it is so apparent that you and Joel are raising 4 young adults who are kind, considerate, helpful and have manners! As empty nesters, we raised our son and daughter the same way. They recently visited us and I can’t tell you how happy it made me feel to hear them having adult conversations, laughing, and planning meeting up with each other in the near future. They are truly friends as adults and enjoy each others company. That doesn’t always happen. And what’s with the SNOW??????

I’m love to see your sea shell collection. I have collected shells since I was 16 yo. I kept them all, and made a beautiful shell mirror when I was in my 60’s. So now everyday I get to look at them and enjoy something beautiful and memorable. Keep your sea shells for the memories.

Next year you will come back with so many sharks teeth you will need another beautiful glass canister to put there..love how you displayed them!! I can't remember how my mom cleaned her shells so they were dry and they didn't smell anymore..I believe she put them outside in the sun for days while on vacation and probably at home...

Bonnie I've been working with fresh shells. I fill a bin with warm water, distilled vinegar and a little bleach. Let them sit two days then unfortunately....lay them outside to completely dry for maybe 2 weeks. And then absolutely no smell left. I make oyster crosses. Helpful tip😊

Hi Bonnie I wasn’t to tell you to use your blow dryer on the shells so they don’t mold and smell to much, that’s what I did with mine from Hawaii and still do every once in a while I brought mine home in 1983.

Hard to believe there’s snow happening there when temperatures were in the triple digits in Arizona today. Also, have you tried using a bleach bath for your seashells? It only takes maybe an hour and it will definitely help with the smell.
Love the shells my in laws collect shells from trips. My mother in law made a lamp with a bunch and my daughter is 9 has it in her room.
