That would be really nice, yes. Grim Tools is the only place I know of with accurate resistances, but every major update it takes a little while for people to submit the changes.
Hey prof. I wanted to ask if I can play a spinning to win build with the secondary class been a demo instead of vires might.(39 Mins in i can see you've answered :) ) I dont think I choose the right faction to then get the off head to reduce cool down time for the VM 🤦♂️ I'm relieved that I don't have to start over an choose a more suited secondary class for this build to work.
Sorry, are you saying that I'll have to play through the game first (without the reduced cooldown of VM) and then start over after completion, to choice the correct faction? Or are you saying there is a way to start over with the same character?
@@t8365 I'm unclear about what you mean. If you're talking about the cooldown reduction I'm referring to in this video, I'm referring to Tectonic Shift, which reduces the cooldown of Vire's Might and is the final modifier for that. If you're talking factions, I can only surmise you're talking about Kymon's Chosen, who have nothing either dropped or sold that reduces the cooldown of Vire's Might that I know of. If you're talking factions, you are totally in the clear and can ignore them. None of them affect Vire's Might.
I don't understand why most legendary sets seem to convert skills into a single damage type if you need a secondary damage type to deal with resistant enemies. Is item design in this game that bad or am I misunderstanding something? Thank you for the in depth guides professor but I'd like to see more gameplay in ultimate
That's because you don't want to split damage types, you want to focus on one type of damage and get RR (Resistance Reduction) for that type of damage. On Shieldbreaker for example you get -% Elemental Resistance on Celestial Presence and Thermite Mine, making Fire damage very strong on this class.
@@hi-im-huesitos Ok but Professor regularly talks about primary and secondary damage types in many videos. Is this whole analysis irrelevant then? Also why doesn't he take thermite mines then? I'm confused
@@augustegustave2046 I can't reply for other people. The only reason I would see not taking Thermite Mine is you are not doing a damage type covered by the RR on that skill. If you are doing Fire damage as a Demolitionist, you always want to take Thermite Mine and actually max it.
I will absolutely be showing Ultimate soon! As for the damage, most legendary sets convert one or two skills into a single damage type, but the rest remain the same. Essentially, if running a legendary set, the chosen skill is your primary damage skill, and you pick up a second skill that does that damage type and a second damage type to deal with resistant enemies. Take the Perdition set as an example. Boosts acid damage and Aegis, but Righteous Fervor with Dreeg's Reproach does both acid and vitality. Aegis would be the primary damage skill, and you'd rely on Righteous Fervor to deal with enemies more resistant to acid.
@@prof.reithe4053 but in your example the perdition set takes like 5 slots in your inventory and doesn't boost vitality damage at all so aren't you better off using acid all the time instead of using a vitality damage skill that isn't improved by your gear? Damage should be the same but at least you can spend these points somewhere else no?
This was very helpful for determining what to focus on while playing through the campaign in co-op, thanks.
Great video. I just like thinking about character building etc with while playing.. and not playing.
With all the damage types in the game, Crate needs to roll out a bestiary which tells the strengths and weaknesses of each enemy.
