How to Be a True Sai Devotee

- What is the prerequisite for being called a 'devotee of God?" Doing daily worship? Singing Bhajans? Praying 5 times a day? Wearing a cross around the neck?
What we need to think about is whether we have the authority to confer 'devoteehood' on ourselves! Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba taught us personally what it means to be a devotee of God - through stories, examples and experiences. It all boils down to consistent faith.

Excellently done. Thank you.In the satcharitham of Shri Shiradi Sai we get a story more or less similar to these. In that Swamy asks an agnihothri brahmin to kill a goat in the masjid. The man agrees & Swamy stops him & tells him how cruel he is.Then the man explains that obeying the guru's order is what he things about & he is not worried about whether its' correct or not. Jai Sai Ram.
We run the day to day activities with our mind filled with filth of our own priorities. Such powerful episodes wash the filth to make us sincere devotees

Absolutely agreeing with the thoughts,,,some time the lion flies,,the horse flies and even dragon flies,,,,,life presents variety of pictures beyond our thoughts,,,bt in what stand are we,,decides the flow and fragrance of life..bt the irony in that is when we get half plate of each,,ie 1/2Happiness+1/2 sadness,, it's like climbing up a mountain and unable to enjoy the beauty bcos of palpitations,,,,I too had got a chance to taste both,,,I applied the CAR mandra ,,the result was neutral (ie ,all just happened ,,at the end it will be ok) is that ok? I'm getting doubts like ""is the gear really in neutral"""
