Not in the main series, but Elaine Beloc and Tim Hunter are pretty powerful. Elaine is the half human half angel daughter of the Archangel Michael, Niece to Lucifer Morningstar and heir to God's throne. Not to mention, she created her own universe along side to Lucifer and God. Tim Hunter is a kid destined to be the greatest magician along side to legends such as Merlin. He is an 'Opener'. a natural conduit to magic and possibly the human son of Titania. He has so much power but very little control over them. (And yes he looks like Harry Potter)
Just some thoughts here: The Sandman version of Thor (although exaggerated) is fairly close to what Norse mythology shows, the Sandman chose who would get the key-the angels were only there to watch, if Destruction had resigned he would have been replaced.
I love both the comic and the show. As far as adaptations go, it was pretty fantastic. I think any adaptations are rated "on a curve". You could maybe go over some key changes between comics and the adaptation, speaking on whether the changes serve the story well within the context of the medium/media. Not just talking of superficial differences like gender or ethnicity (I think anyone focusing on those differences fail to understand the nature of The Endless). I'm speaking more of how Roderick burgess, Doctor Destiny, The Corinthian, etc were expanded upon and how that may have helped bring a season-long narrative together.

I love the actress Vivienne Acheampong’s depiction on Lucienne in the live action Sandman. She was one of my favorite characters.

She staples faces to walls AND makes Dream a sad boi who mopes in the rain when they break up....

Thanks for your videos. I am new to Sandman and I am enjoying all I can read and watch about the series.
It’s interesting how the beings in sandman have a closer personality to their literary elements
Amanda you’re considerate thinking of your viewers when writing your lists. 🥰
I've got a ton of tv shows to get around to watching but I'm thinking of trying Sandman next. I need to watch Mr Marvel before She-Hulk comes.
