Good video can prepare real time scenario where incremental read from one json file and post data into two different azure sql tables which having relationships between them as well.
Thank you for the video. Is this scenario can also be completed using the Getmetadata activity too which you have explained in another video using field list ->Last modified
Hi , Thankyou for the amazing videos it has been a great help. if you can make a video on below scenario it will be really helpful. if there is a video on this kindly help me with the link Scenario : 1. Copy files from blob to Gen2. 2. Making sure there is a retry mechanism if the pipeline fails and then copies only the files that were not copied before .
Hi sir, excellent explanation. Can you please tell me if in a folder today morning one file is uploaded, today afternoon another file is uploaded. How to copy the latest file i.e only afternoon file not morning file?
Thanks for the vid! Very helpful. I have a question: how is the performance of incremental copy? Imagine a scenario that a directory gets millions of files every day. Does this mean that the pipeline first checks the last modified date of all files every day and then filter those new ones and then copy? If that's the case the performance can decrease as time passes.
Files are in Ftp server in folder1-2019, folder2-2020, folder3-2021 under lying year have month wise folders, How can we achieve to pick Files based on latest year and latest month Files, source is ftp target Blob Storage. Thanks in advance
is it possible in ADF to run a mapping data flow when (trigger) a file is created in a folder or is it something which can be done in Logic apps only, by from Logic App trigger ADF ?
HI, I faced an issue and let this sort out in a beautiful way; Q) If the EMP table is in server 1 and the department table is on server 2, how do we copy that into data lake storage in Azure Data Factory by using only one activity andonly one pipeline?
I an unable to perform the operation when i have folders involved in it and i need to incrementally copy the folders which has a modified date specified in my filters. I tested by adding file inside the directory and yes it catches the files but for folders the output array remained empty. Someone please help!!
If u are.copying same files again to destination then yes they will override. But as I said in video you need to schedule the pipeline properly and then have last modified by values properly defined to avoid copying same files again and again
Thanks for very much informative videos...My ask here is “ I need to copy data in last modified file from a folder/sub folder path in azure blob storage and ingest into Azure data explorer using ADF...can you please help with a video/resolution?
if we use event based triggers then what will happen bro, if any one ask call only last 2 days folders then only we can use this type of scenario right.
@@WafaStudies yes , and one more question let say my storage account sa01 having 10 files and I will insert 4 more files in sa01 at the end in sa02 4 files will also come. But what is happening 4 files are coming and remaining 10 files are also updating but my intension is to insert only 4 files without effecting 10 files in sa02 .
@@WafaStudies Can u provide you mail id, I have some requirement similar to that video only but using event based trigger. Whenever any new data will come in sa01 only new data will copy to sa02 without modified any data which is present in sa02 already. & whole process will run automatically that why I used event based trigger.

That's right. It checks the data of every file and compares it with the condition. This is a potential bottle neck.
Wonderful efforts.. !!! You made our life easy.. :)

Hi, please explain how to set last modified date of file in azure storage explorer with expected date?

No. Trigger execute whole pipeline, it will copy all the data fresh . With incremental load you will only copy the new or modified data.
Can you do video on SQL database ,how to load incremental load
