Reign That's the problem. You would have expected such a cool character to actually do something when he was finally introduced in the game. But that never happened. Which is why he's way cooler in the novel.
well all other demon hunters are loyal to him, and he is the one who showed the the truth about the legion and gave them the means to fight them. So exactly what they wanted, according to the lore all demon hunters have a personal vendetta and hatred for the legion and i dont think they would be so ungrateful for Illidans help, unlike that one traitor hunter who back in burning crusade gave you the order to kill his brothers
I personally would greatly have preferred Vandel as a follower or to at least here more about what happened to him after the novel....well, maybe another time.

S'theno is probably based off of Stheno, the eldest Gorgon sister in Greek Mythology, having killed more people than Medusa, and Euryale combined. Unlike Medusa, Stheno was not angry at Poseidon and what he did, and was furious with Medusa instead. She was still turned into a monster along with her sisters, and while Medusa is mortal*, Stheno and her sister Euryale, are immortal. (Edit* Immortal to Mortal)

These naga are the ones that are loyal to Illidan, not Azshara. So I believe that's why they're helping us, That's also why there are broken with the demon hunters as well.
From what I now understand are those naga and broken the ones who did believe Illidan's story on what danger the burning legion really posed (Kael, Vash and Akama did not believe him). I am more confused by the willing demons who aid him.
Eucep the broken on the fel hammer werent their to see akama release his people and the demons willingy served illidan because illidan granted them more power than the legion
You have a choice in the game, depending on who you side with. The Demon Hunter from Burning Crusade who sent players on quests to kill Blood Elf Demon Hunters lets you persuade Akama. The other one, Kayne I think his name is, you recruit the darkness within Akama's own soul.
He pretty much was in the black temple all this time trying to rebuild it. When it comes to the point of Akama being needed to join you, you either convince him or you beat him into submission depending on who you picked.
The shivvarra find the burning legion's plans to destory everything boring so they stick with the Illidari while the Naga most likey do it out of this pact which i assume Lady Vashj made with Illidan.
also during the warlock green fire quest it was revealed that Illidan created another well of eternity in the black temple that he used to convert demons over to his side more or less managing to break them free of Legion control
There's actually never been an explanation for why the naga allied with Illidan, even back in WC3 it was really vague. Malevolence explains why the shivarra do: they think the Legion is boring.
these new champions got me thinking... Am I the only one who woulda loved to see the warriors get a resurrected Garrosh? I know EVERYONE hates big G and such but for as much hate as we give him he was a bad ass fighter. I can see Odyn liking his skills so much to give him a shot at redemption in battle. Wont be the first time Odyn got one of our former villains to fight for good :P
I guess. I don't see much wrong with Garrosh except his personality and him going a bit crazy with old god stuff in MoP, but WoD, the entire iron horde was actually the bronze dragon's idea. But let's not go into the time-travel madness. That might be the reason we aren't going there. Garrosh died in the past Draenor. And yeah, the guy fought Deathwing, he didn't even flinch! I have no idea how this Odyn ressurection works, I might learn in the future, cause i'm leveling a warrior now, but I hate pre-Legion leveling, I'm 87 now. And for Demon Hunters, I expected Vandel to do something important! Maybe him becoming the new follower?!
I was hoping warriors would get Eyir, that ungrateful bitch should've been my slave. Also druids should get Freya, she is the only keeper of Ulduar that hasn't made an appearance in legion yet. (Thorim shows up in the warrior campaign, and the BM artfifact chain. Mimiron also in the BM artifact chain. Hodir for warrior campaign)
ragnarocker012 If anyone is going to get ressurected as a warrior champion, then it has to be Anduin Lothar and/or Orgrim Doomhammer. Pretty sure both are stronger than Garrosh, and Garrosh has already appeared as a major character in a lot of the expansions.
Whats with the 2 minute advertisement - which is actually a video from another channel - that can't be skipped... UA-cam has to pay more attention to whom they are selling add spots to. I'm gonna stop watching videos that show this kind of add. I came here for Nobbels content, not for the shitty video of the other channel. Keep going Nobel! Love your videos.
I understand why S'theno she's a naga and we have no naga followers and plenty of Night Elf and Blood Elf Followers. But a way they could make Vandel both awesome and a follower is by giving him a perma metamorphis form similar to Illidan and other Demon Hunters.
I hope one day we get playable naga, an perhaps one day all of the old one mortal minions. perhaps in a old one themed xpac where they finally grow disillusioned to their ties to them an we get naga / klaxxi / narubien (especially since we, not the faceless ones , saved them from undeath) / hell even AQ 10/40 bug people for kicks. imagine a city where all their city guards are murlocs.....
Kor'vas is the best of the Illidari. The effect they put on her voice is terrible, her voice in the areas they forgot to apply the effect are the best.

I swear it's like the blizzard writers don't talk to each other or like one another and tried to write each other characters and events out of existences.

Something I noticed was that he was a level 1 demon hunter.
