Looked like you all had fun doing this. The outfits looked good. The way modest dress is described here though, gives off the idea that covering up is done because there is this idea that men are lustful, frenzied, wild animals who cannot see a woman's ankle without getting hysterically uncontrollable and therefore the women must cover themselves up as a favor to the guys. It's cool if you all are pushing modest dress for religious reasons, and your personal identity with your faith, as long as it isn't forced and as long as it isn't done just because men demand it. What are the men doing to dress modestly? Is the idea that men too can dress immodestly even put forth? Otherwise this is simply gender based modesty and this is not equal or fair. Hopefully the young boys and men are being taught that it does not matter what a woman wears, their sexual thoughts are their own and are being taught control over them. Also with any hope the young girls and women are being taught that it does not matter what they wear they do not have control over the sexual desires and thoughts a man has even if that is their goal. I also hope the females are being taught that they too can control their sexualized thoughts upon seeing any part of a man's body they find attractive, ie. butocks, muscles, legs, shape. Both sexes can control their thoughts and that is what lusting is, a thought. You can acknowledge to yourself that a person looks good in something and carry that thought no further. Both can focus on the heart and mind rather than simply the outer looks.👍🏽 Not every culture wears a bunch of clothing so not every culture has men who lust after a barely clothed woman.... or vice versa. Modesty is subjective to culture. The women and men in some tribes of South America find it odd and funny that men & women in other parts of the world see bared breasts as sexual at all and the same for bared buttocks. It really is odd that breasts and buttocks are considered something to cause lust if you think about it. It's not wrong to dress and groom yourself to feel attractive, but it is wrong to do so to turn heads and be prideful in that way because it does not display humility. Based on many religion's scriptures modesty does not fall solely on the shoulders of a woman. Also modest dress isn't meant to reserve parts of the body for the husband's or wife's eyes only,rather it is about relationship with the creator by focusing on inward qualities and good works instead of outward looks for the sole purpose of garnering attention. All that is really meant in the scriptures of many religions by modest dress is that it is more important to focus on good works than hair and clothing style. Focus inward more than outward. True modesty is about attitude and heart.
