Nothing has helped my skin more than ending my days as a product junkie. I’ve used the same products consistently for well over a year and have pared down from a crazy amount of steps and constantly looking for the white whale of skincare. I use: a gentle cleanser (plus cleansing balm when I’ve worn makeup), sunscreen, a basic and effective moisturizer, and acid peels. Nothing else. My skin finally stopped breaking out in cystic acne and going through wild dry and oily spells.
@@kalis2294 Derma E foaming hyaluronic cleanser, Banila Clean it Zero cleansing balm, Canmake Mermaid sunscreen, Avene moisturizer, and Dr. Dennis Gross acid peels. IMO it’s less about the brand of products and more about what your skin likes. Just a basic good cleansing routine, a good moisturizer for your skin type/the season, and an active that works for you.
Can you help me I'm still a skincare addict that has to try every popular product out here, spending too much 💰 money. I never use the same products, I need to stay consistent. I watch to many youtube skin influencers. 😩 I also have had cystic acne. Sucks.
Heimish makes a sun cushion that has literally changed my whole skin care game. It comes in light and a darker shade. Like James, I have light olive skin, so the darker shade works beautifully for me. I can’t say enough about the product - it’s really amazing.
Personally alpha arbutin does wonders for my skin and rosacea! My skin is mostly just way too sensitive for most of the actives but suprisingly arbutin doesn't irritate it.
girll yesss I love cellfusion's sunscreen.. they even have cooling toner pads I would use last summer and leave on my face while I would get ready for the day. Kept this cooch nice and cooled off!!!
I just saw a video by a Japanese beauty vlogger in Japan that was talking about the ISOI product the other day. Given how fast Korean products tend to get popular and then go away sometimes, it's really impressive hearing that that one has been doing so well for so long 😮
I always have one or two stable products that I always go back to every year, but I like changing up my skincare routine so it's always fun and up to date! This year's goal is to at least try the Glow Recipe serums because I have finally been giving in after James constantly praising them. I NEED to know how good they are myself!
The plum plum hyaluronic acid serum is amazing, the avocado ceramide serum is amazing, and so is the watermelon toner and serum! I hope you like their products. They are good.
Olive skin here - I love the abib and elizavecca sun sticks, they’re clear! The scnic compact was too white for me as well. Still on a hunt for a good cushion sunscreen that’s not tinted. I have one from moonshot on the way, fingers crossed!
I have to say that u have stunning skin James 😬 it so pleasing to see more men looking after their skin these days. Growing up (I’m 47 btw 😂) I never saw men using anything except soap or hair shampoo on their face in the shower 😂
As always, love you! Thank you! I am so grateful for my skincare journey thus far, and so much of it I learned from you 🥰🥰🥰🥰 love and enjoy doing my skincare routine, keep sharing ❤❤❤❤
James!!! Please try Malezia! I trust you'll love the moisturizer! Its amazing for texture, great for oily skin, I have rosacea too and it has been amazing.
Love the Torriden toner and they have a ceramide lip balm, too. But I will try the ones from Isoi, cause they seem to be fantastic- me being a lip balm freek-. I have I don't know how many for the morning, outside, with some colour and obviously a night one. Thanks for this really interesting and helpful video, James xxx 😍🙏
Super wish you would post the ingredients in the products you mention. Having an allergy to aloe, avocado, banana, and pine really puts some limits on what cleansing, beauty, and scent products I can use.
The hyaluronic acid toner is something I'll be looking into when my NARS hydrating toner runs out, they discontinued it and it's uncomfortably sticky anyways.
I'm a POC with very oily skin. My favorite sun care product is feom ISDIN, it is a powder that comes with a brush to apply. It has color, so it looks really nice. I can't find it anymore so I have just bought a color sunscreen from ISDIN too. I'm not too happy with the color so far.
Love Torriden's ceramide lip balm! May have to try some of their other products! Question for everyone, I've been using the CosRx Snail Mucin All in One Cream and it has actually made my skin more dry and dehydrated. Has this happened to anyone else? I really like how it makes my skin feel to the touch and it makes my skin look great, just doesn't feel great the next morning. Skin feels like it's going to crack it's so dry. Any dupes out there that maybe I wouldn't have this issue with?
Rosehip oil should not smell like roses since it's extracted from the seeds not the petals, that's rose oil. To me rosehip oil smells like if the word "organic" had a smell, unpleasantly earthy but amazing stuff!🤣
Where do you think is the best site to buy the Torriden? The link takes me to various sites, the Korean site is $20 for shipping-was a bit confused bc the discount code wasn’t working either. Love & trust your content James!
You sound so kind and I love your videos Jaaaames, I wish we could grab coffee (or tea :)) together I am sure we would get along together haha, thank youuu for ur reviews love em
I’m begging you. Can you please do a tutorial on how to wash the face and apply products for bearded faces? My boyfriend doesn’t know how and I bet a lot of men don’t either. I’ve tried looking for some myself but they’re either just about beard care or only talk about men’s skin care.
Hi James, I hope you're doing well. I was looking for Korean skin care products that don't have any Trace of Coconut. My daughter is allergic to it, and she has acne-prone skin,Blackheads and sensitive eczema skin .Can you recommend anything for me please? I would appreciate it.💜💜
Hey can you do a you tube on blue light please as I find it very confusing.....why are there blue light therapies but then products which protect against blue light?????
Those wrist guards are brilliant! I always make a mess if I’m washing my face at the sink instead of in the shower. Where did you get them? I’m guessing YesStyle.
Those stood out to me too! When I visited the States last year I tried to get some in Hot Topik 'cause I remember the emo kids all had them when I was a teen- but they didn't have any and I couldn't find any good ones online ( ; ; )
I would love to see more on sunscreen cushions. I use the Physicians Formula which is decent and I just heard that Avene makes one that is like a cream foundation that turns to a powdery finish. Anyone tried it?
Hello, I have an important question about sunscreen and was hoping you could help me out. It is about the temperature of which sunscreen should be stored and whether the cold causes the sunscreen to turn less effective. I live in London and it is very cold here in the winter, I just brought a sunscreen and although I have left it in my room inside my make up bag, it still feels so cold. Would this make it less protective when I use it, or would it have to be extremely icy kind of cold to cause it to really break down?
Can you still benefit from Tretinoin if you only use it twice a week? I’ve been using it for two years and I can’t get past two days without bad flaking. And yes I’ve used all the tricks in the book. Even with just two days I still get flakes but it’s manageable. With that being said am I just one of those people that never adjusts to Tretinoin and am I doing more harm than good?
Hi James , I have bought and use many of your skin care recommendations. The ingredient lists always convince me. This video seems a little off. Just saying.
Most the other skin care creators have popped off and now they just recommend rubbish and talk rubbish this is because of the money u don't seem like that my friend

Yes, Jessi. Totally agree with you. But people like James need to try out new stuff, it is now his job
What products are you using!? I need to simplify my products badly.

I purchased the ISOI beauty serum for my daughter and the rose red lip balm for me…both smell amazing and the balm looks so beautiful on!

"If I'm at home sitting in my garden" 😂😅 I love you 🥰
Wooo thank you for sharing this routine James! Bulgarian Rose 😍

I've started putting watery toners into spray bottles. And it has been so much nicer.
Torriden toner is so good. I really enjoyed it and would totally go back to it as my main watery toner.
I have to say that u have stunning skin James 😬 it so pleasing to see more men looking after their skin these days. Growing up (I’m 47 btw 😂) I never saw men using anything except soap or hair shampoo on their face in the shower 😂
Love this❤ buying both ISOI lip treatments!! Can’t wait!
I have been loving Torriden too - their toner & HA serum has been great for my skin (similar to yours ie rosacea-prone) 💙
I'm a simple girl. I see Torriden, Aestura and Scinic in a James Welsh video, I hit like 💯
As always, love you! Thank you! I am so grateful for my skincare journey thus far, and so much of it I learned from you 🥰🥰🥰🥰 love and enjoy doing my skincare routine, keep sharing ❤❤❤❤
Ugh you are so glowy and radiant! So jealous lol.
As a Bulgarian, I love how many times you said Bulgarian rose 🌹🤭❤

I am actually using that Scinic Sun Cushion and it is AMAZING 💖
In the US buying the blemish serum online through Amazon is 85.00. Not so affordable for us. I saw it was 20 for UK.
💞Hello James 💞 Happy Sunday 💞
But I don't have any of these...now I need to buy them. Except I don't need more skincare...first world problems 😩
These still work for my 44yo face:)

I'd love a review of the sunsticks and cushions, they're a little pricey to just randomly grab one when I'm shopping online
Please do more affordable Korean skincare.
Good morning James

You should try Ling Skincare Dual Moisture Emulsion, if you haven’t tried it yet! I’m curious what you would think of it
James, what are you wearing on your wrists when cleansing?

Does the lip balm have a flavor? I hate it when I can taste sweetness on my lips.
Hi James did not see code for Amazon
do you do lymphatic massages for yourself? how often? thanks :D

Because they're both bs

James Welsh channeled his inner James Charles with that last sunscreen 😂😂
Every time I watch you using your skincare I wonder how you treat the skin under your beard!? 🤔
Would you recommend the ISOI Blemish Care Up Serum or the ISOI Blemish Care Plus Cream more? I have oily acne prone skin that is also sensitive

Help! I need a serum that has hyaluronic acid and salicylic acid in it. Cost affective and works! Please help me 😩 💋
You could try the one from vichy
I don't know if I would call $54 serum "affordable"...
Ooh that was my first thought as well!
agree.. 🤔 but now it’s 44USD at amazon!
😂😂😂
I was like "I wish there was more actually affordable stuff", especially since Asian skincare has so much of that
Go price some other quality serums. It’s really not a bad price
