This build is also only like 2-3% ahead on pure st, but in bosses with lower uptime or some form of burst or high cleave, the inertia build from last season would be used. It’s also dated meme season, so you really can play what you want. But if you want to be ‘optimal’, Get ready to play both!!
Oh thank God for this. Havoc is clearly at its best when you don't move, have 3 buttons to press, don't do damage, and rely on hasted procs to keep up with the tanks.
Hmm as a casual that started in Legion and came back to Df I find DH not fun at all ,they ripped what Demonic build was and now we have the current version pruned and not fun , and they use the narrative 2~ 3 button class when it’s still the same just more shit we have to do.. to buff attacks and keep a uptime why????that is opposite of fun 😂 whatever I started in season 2 Df and stoped there when they balance the game so there are no meta classes , just a skill issue like legion maybe I’ll come back doubt it though

id like to see math on the stat DR of crit vs the scaling of know your enemy. because the higher crit chance goes the better each % of crit is, but ofcourse the higher it is the harder it is for it to go up
We’re at a point we’re we have like a 40-50% penalty in converting raw crit into percentage and it takes a crazy amount of stats to increase our crit by even 1%. At this point, despite how strong KYE is, it’s just not better than putting some stats into other categories. I don’t have like graphs or anything but we know by sims that the point where it stops being worth it is around 50-55% crit
Dropping the 3% damage node for improved chaos strike is the same in terms of damage, but makes you much less flexible and worse at any cleave (also loses the 5% phys reduction). Dropping anything else for it is a loss
Seems there is an asterisk to this that it's just a different best build for ST raid encounters basically, right? Exciting, but was hoping no mover would somehow be better than Interia damage window builds in M+ as well
@@zuralani1dead eagle has momo, but you can drop it for not that crazy of a loss. Dead eagle is just what we’ve been calling spread eagle’s successor since spread eagle can’t be made with the current tree anymore :p
Nice we got a rework got nerfed 10 times in the same patch of our rework while specs like mage and sp got buffed(ofc its them cuz god forbid something else is meta) and now we are back to being a raid debuff, doing tank dmg and having 2 button ratation as it should be I guess. See you on the next rework after 2 years for a month before we get nerfed again.
We’re actually pretty above average in terms of damage now. Being above 400k is good, and our other build is still strong and will be used (and strong) on cleave fights
@@Samy-j9h its higher if you drop darkness for soul sigils, but if youre chasing being the most optimal its far enough ahead and significantly easier to play

i personally loved keeping up meta as long as possible. glad to see this.

omg I love this! I dont mind inertia too much (anymore), but I like no Mover the most. I love anvil too. lets gooo!
As a VDH main who wants to play Havoc a little but struggles to do well with the mover builds this is great news

Tbh I could use a break from damage windows. I don’t think I’ll mind this for a season, especially a fated season. Don’t want it permanently though.
you'll still play both depending on the boss anyways, this wont be used on every boss in the raid

Augury is not better than anvil/brand, and icon is dead. They did some trinket tuning which I’ll go over Tuesday :)
How does this no mover hold up in comparisons to other clases?
After icon nerfs pretty well. Some classes are still turbo broken and super far above, but being over 400k is above average from what I’ve seen

Dead eagle is playable but it’s hard to beat ragefire and everything in m+
