    webm files support alpha, seem lightweight on the CPU and work (with audio) as well.

    The system overhead in opening 600 files instead of one is outweighed by being able to mark the transition point?
    And a followup question: I was going to ask if stingers could contain audio. I guess that preferring PNG sequences lets that idea out, then?
    RFE: Support stingers as 2 video files with audio, one for the intro of the stinger, and one for the outro.

    Notice how the GPU jumps from 6% to 16%. This is why I’ve resorted to .MOV files in a list or just as a single input - uses wayyyy less GPU.

      @@roberts_lancmanis in my experience a .mov ProRes 4444 video is 4-7% less than a PNG sequence

    Is a similar method used for custom lower thirds created in after effects?

    • @vMixhd
      @vMixhd  3 роки тому

      Yes, you could use a similar method if you have a custom title already rendered. You just wouldn't need to create a stinger, just add the file and use an Overlay channel.

    Is this normal it's eating more GPU ?? before adding the png sequence GPU usage is at 6%, after adding the png sequence ==> 44%
