Hey Nick this was so awesome!! I was wondering if we could get a breakdown of Joe Ryan. He clearly does a lot right but I’m interested to hear your take on it and how you think he could take the next step.
Pablo is so well spoken! I'm proud to see/hear a fellow Venezuelan express himself so elocuently and in English!, which is not always the case with our ball players. Props also to Nick for this initiative. 👊👊👊
I don’t see the reason to be well spoken or care. If he gets his word across to where the listener can understand, that would be just fine. English is the stupidest language to pick up and understand. Just because he speaks it eloquent doesn’t matter to me. However, I loved this interview Nick. I appreciate this kind of insight and it’s always cool to hear what the pitcher is thinking. It’s always the biggest question I have watching games. Cheers!
Is it fair to assume that if you have knowledge about certain tendencies about a pitcher, that all mlb teams know them already? if not, LOOKS LIKE A LOT OF SECRET IS GIVEN AWAY HERE!
Please keep in mind I don't know baseball yet, I'm trying to learn for this upcoming season. What is said at 14:56. "Have you ever thrown a "naughten" fastball? I checked MLB glossary, wikipedia baseball slang, and pitching scouting terms and can't find it. Did I mishear the word? TIA.
That's my fault! I didn't clearly say "Non-Fastball". Traditionally, the very first pitch of games are grooved fastballs over the plate, and I love watching pitchers who realize many leadoff batters attack the very first pitch of the game, often creating a scenario where a breaking ball or changeup would be best. It made me so happy to hear Pablo agree.
@@PitcherList Thank you for the clarification and I appreciate the content. I love learning these types of insights. I'll continue through your content. Cheers.
So glad Pablo did this and you were a great host. Wondering if putting this information out is good for Pablo though? If I am an opposing hitter I would be watching this the night before start. Or is the idea that all of this information is already being provided by teams so MLB hitters already know this stuff. Really amazing to see the curtain pulled back.

Informative. Entertaining. Professional. Great work! This, plus the Sara Sanchez interview, I have bought in. Thanks, Nick.
I was so bummed I couldn't catch the stream, so big thanks for posting this!
So cool to see such an in-depth breakdown of a pitcher's start!
