The phone would have to be like 10x more powerful than the switch for that to happen, which is why only gaming pcs can run switch emulators smoothly. and if one came out soon, it wouldn't have any compatibility. If you were to choose between this and the Switch as a gaming device, the switch would be much better.

Gaming on Mobile in general isn't going anywhere. Look at the games for crying out loud, there's very little improvement in graphics, gameplay, controls, etc over the last few years. And Mobile hardwares are getting better every year. Even a mid-range phone can play the highest demanding game comfortably not to mention the flagships. I don't see the reason for these Gaming phones.

I have a Realme X2 Pro (an sd855+ phone) and it cries like baby when playing some scenario of Honkai Impact 3 and Genshin Impact. Yes, in the past the mobile games kinda sucks, not now and definitely not in the near future.
