This is honestly one of the most enjoyable pieces of music I've ever heard.
I'm not a fan normally of this kind of music (to listen to).
But not only does this piece capture the feeling, the time, the place and the energy surrounding the Titanic perfectly...
...it also fills me with a kind of reflective hopefulness, a positive feeling I can't really understand.
When I need to relax as a life long panic sufferer, this literally does the trick to fix it.
A beautiful piece I wish I could thank the composer.
The background "noise" fits perfectly. As if it is trying to warn us of a horror that will happen. The background noise sounds as if it is from a horror game.
While the flute, seems perfectly normal. Just calming you in the decks of the RMS Titanic. And the rest of the sounds. They too seem like they belong to that era..
The harmonica sounded thing? Yeah that’s kinda creepy, it reminds me of impending doom.
This music is perfect to close your eyes and picture yourself walking on deck of the Titanic. Or to picture the shipwreck at the bottom of the pitch dark sea.
The inclusion of the Celtic instruments almost makes this game's score almost sound like it follows James Horner's example from the 1997 film's music. It's just lovely, period.
At last, some peace for the Titanic.

There's something about this music that gets me thinking about the world in 1912. Titanic's place in the history of ships crossing the ocean. How big the world was back then. Not that long ago really but a totally different place.
This..this is so soothing. It calms me down for some reason.

This music is the quite literal manifestation of Titanic's spirit.
Not gonna lie, I but this on as work ambiance and pretend I'm doing work in the First Class Lounge before I take my daily stroll about the deck. It's quite peaceful.

Man, this is amazing. It sounds like a combination of James Horner (from the 1997 James Cameron film), Michael Whalen (who composed a similar soundtrack for the 2000 PBS documentary "Lost Liners"), and Mary McLaughlin's "Flower on the Sea" (Who made the song for the aforementioned "Lost Liners" documentary. A little stoned and this is more somber and ethereal than normal. Thank you.

This song is so, time traveling? Such a shame they got rid of this. The feeling you get while exploring the Titanic while listening to this was... immaculate.
It was the ship of dreams.
Olympic was more known, and probably more preffered at the time of the titanic's launch. and many still chose Cunard's Lusitania and Mauretania. but they did have vibration issues so yeah olympic was a bit better.

This music is beautful, and it lends a dreamlike quality to the demo, as if you are visiting the ship on your own terms in some sort of meeting. I really loved it.
I can just play this music and see a slow sunrise over belfast and just see the dock workers and ships starting work
It's amazing how James Horner, somehow, someway, captures the perfect ambiance and spirit of the Titanic. Like he was transmitted back to that time to create the music. May he RIP.
This is actually composed by Anthony Casalena for an upcoming titanic video game. Definitely inspired by Horner's instrumentals though.

Sadly i don't think it ever will, as a full game...
They'll be doing a live stream on 10th april, I naively think they've invested too much (not just resources but their time) to just let it go. I really hope to see a full ship inside and out, and no yet another fictional story slammed on top of that. Belfast, Southampton etc. can be added later as DLC.
The demo is out, and in their livestream, they have stated they aren't giving up, but they are small team and one of their key members left, so it will be awhile, but they are working on it

The ambient synth seems to have a low quality sound to it, is that just the quality of the rip of the source or a post issue?
I took it from the audio itself, but it's possible the sound issue comes from the editor i used.

This demo had an excellent almost photorealistic interiors and an amazing soundtrack to boot. Too bad the voice acting and writing was so horrible though.
Glad I’m not the only one who thought the voice character was ridiculous. Hopefully they get a real Englishperson, saying realistic things, for the actual game.

as far as i know, they got White Star Line songbook music, which would have been played aboard. Not the same thing, definitely :(
