I mean a burst of an AR to the center of a combat form is more than enough to destroy the infection form within....canonically if only someone was able to bring the infection form's resurrection abilities from Halo 2 to CE in a mod that would balance out how easy combat forms are taken out ingame

Play his mod on legendary (the way he intends for it to be played) and tell me the human weapons are too good against the flood. The elite major flood (purple) take like 3/4 of a mag from the pistol to take down because their shields are weak to plasma but strong against bullets. The golden armored flood take like 2 entire magazines from the pistol to take down. The human flood and unshielded elite flood are weak to human weapons though which encourages switching between bullet and plasma weapons against the flood.
@@sturm9087well in my mod there's no difference in health to the flood unlike ruby's mod, shielded or unshielded makes no difference, the human flood have less health but that's it, unsc weapons may be quite useless and since they struggle against shields a single minor flood could take an entire mag or AR rounds and still survive. However plasma pistol needler or plasma rifle absolutely shred them
It would be really cool if after the flood is revealed all remaining Covenant forces stop being hostile during the rest of this mission. Like there's an unspoken truce between the Covenant soldiers and the Master Chief due to the much larger threat of the flood.

Why didnt spark just seal off the containment area? Put a big shield arround 100 sq km. Then shield the entire ring stopping them from being able to leave the atmosphere?
because the lore for this game originally had none of the crazy retcons 343/Frank O Connor came up with their terminals and books. when Bungie was at the helm the concept of jettisoning a section of the ring into space didnt exist at all (what we saw i nthat terminal of Halo CEA and Halo Wars 2). thats one answer in terms of a of real life explanation, the one that seems more likely in the game's universe is that the swamp/containment facility is underground and thus not possible to eject which makes sense since having a Flood lab on the surface would make it easily accesible to intruders.
Too many different aspects of this mission that they are all the same. Love the ones that make the shotgun useless, yet no one ever adds to the horror. They just copy and paste, wish this map got more light on it for the horror aspect. Well that and two other maps that have way more lore then game gave you to play (main one "the maw") there was so much going on in those mins that we were kinda left with nothing.
If you ever do it again, Ruby's Rebalanced is best on Legendary. It's not technically harder than heroic (unlike vanilla), but there are more enemies, more unique stuff, more secrets, and more environmental changes.

@@pvt.jonwallace i already play it and finish the mod on legendry
@@pvt.jonwallace steam workshop halo mcc
@@ITSSIRWAN86 was it hard? I was considering doing a playthrough on Legendary originally but chose Heroic instead
@@pvt.jonwallace its hard man but you can do it if you have time do a try
After watching cursed halo i expected keyes to kill himself
I can't handle this guy wasting rockets and fuel rods on infection forms lol.
The only thing i dont like in rubys mod is how unsc ar and magnum are too useful on the flood, it basically eliminates the need to use any other weapon since you can always get up in the floods face as they charge you down most of the time, this is why i made those 2 mostly useless on them to gice more enphasis for the covenant weapons and to punish players for choosing the ar or magnum to deal with the encounters
I mean a burst of an AR to the center of a combat form is more than enough to destroy the infection form within....canonically
if only someone was able to bring the infection form's resurrection abilities from Halo 2 to CE in a mod that would balance out how easy combat forms are taken out ingame
@@pvt.jonwallace i understand the idea but i wanted to bring in what mona lisa did, if you watched that 1 hour movie then you understand the point i tried to reach, also what i said above
@@sturm9087 note taken
@@sturm9087well in my mod there's no difference in health to the flood unlike ruby's mod, shielded or unshielded makes no difference, the human flood have less health but that's it, unsc weapons may be quite useless and since they struggle against shields a single minor flood could take an entire mag or AR rounds and still survive. However plasma pistol needler or plasma rifle absolutely shred them
Got a thought that infection forms and flood in generals should have different shades of colour, they'd may be scarier and cooler.
40:05 "Ya'll gonna die" 40:06 *dies himself*
It would be really cool if after the flood is revealed all remaining Covenant forces stop being hostile during the rest of this mission. Like there's an unspoken truce between the Covenant soldiers and the Master Chief due to the much larger threat of the flood.
I made a playthrough of another mod on the channel that shows exactly what you said.
On Halo Combat Revolved if I remember correctly you had Grunts and Jackals fighting alongside you and the Marines in the final area of 343 Guilty Spark.
Perhaps you should check it out
I will come back to watch this but first, where can I get this mod?
steam workshop and nexus mods

Remember when Halo had atmosphere?
Are the infection forms faster than normal here?
Their speed changes based on difficulty If i remember correctly.
OR maybe I am just allucinating....
they give you a shotgun right in the beginning?
only in easy and normal difficulties
@@pvt.jonwallace it's been a while since I've played normal or easy lol
@@rm25088 yeah, the game is definitely more enjoyable on Heroic
If you ever do it again, Ruby's Rebalanced is best on Legendary. It's not technically harder than heroic (unlike vanilla), but there are more enemies, more unique stuff, more secrets, and more environmental changes.
@@pvt.jonwallace I agree. I'll do legendary too once in a while.
❤
What's the difficulty?
normal for playthrough reasons
@@pvt.jonwallace thank ya
This mod is much better than SPV3 🔥. SPV3 is more like quantity over quality 😐
I should first get my hands on SPV3 before making any judgement, if it ever comes to Steam's Workshop that is
It added way too many weapons, way too many new skins that are very low quality. I did like the bonus missions they game up with tho.
@@NYG5 True. Nothing could beat OG game with Ruby Rebalanced mod installed, not even Halo CE Anniversary 🥱
Backtracking was a bit overcooked. sgt johnsson was a nice detail

😅love god and love all people, be hopeful, honest and be good(virtuous). Believe in the gospel Jesus Christ for Jesus shed his blood and died for the sins of the world and was buried and rose again from the dead three days later. For Jesus Christ God almighty in the flesh and if you believe in the gospel you are spiritually reborn into the family of God.
Wow jesus is just like the flood. I get why you posted this on a halo playthrough now
Well that was underwhelming. All the mod adds is some pointless time wasting console activations, some weapons and assets from other halo games, and some enemy tweaks. There is nothing groundbreaking here. I hate how some people consider a game "scary" just because they lowered the contrast a bit. Making the game darker doesn't make it scary its just irritating because you can't see
Idk I liked the motion tracker stuff, flood noises, and the other ambiance stuff.
How does it make you feel putting down other peoples hard work that they release for free? Feel good?
Calm down Captain Panties. Its criticism. Grow up@@crashbash8549
@@crashbash8549 Still criticise the sh out of it. Let the dev take notes and fix what they can and just ignore what's outside their ability.
@@eyeballpapercut4400 First of all, criticism has to he constructive for it to be useful, second, this isn't really criticism, it's just insults and rude comments, third, if you actually played the mod you'd know that this person has no idea what they're even talking about, and finally, if something is free it should not be criticised as heavily as something that is paid.
Damn, I'm a vet for Halo CE and this gave me goosebumps, great gameplay and roleplay!! 😮🤘 and another thing, when I tried to come back to the same elevator where I came in and just see it destroyed falling down the shaft I immediately started to panic. 😅
