If you use the jet you'll make it there in time" Listener: (suits up) "If she burns the house down its coming out of your pay" Dan: (Looking at the screen displaying Skylar's attempt to bake a cake) "I would like to say I'm not worried, but given that she put in corn starch instead of flour it is making me sweat a bit" Listener: (climbs into jet) "At least you won't have to clean the mess" Dan: "I guess being here full time does have it's perks. This reminds me of my original home life and how i first became homeless. Thankfully that was twenty years ago and am in a much better place but some days those memories come back. Hearing this helps deal with those memories.

I drink, but only occasionally. I go to bed by 11 PM and always get at least 8 hours of sleep... Before I lie down, I drink a cup of warm milk and do 20 minutes of stretching to relax my body... The idea of helping someone before caring about myself makes me feel SO MUCH JOY and honestly, makes me feel happier and less worried about my own problems. It's ridiculous but... it's true
Iv been to many abandoned areas and iv met many homeless. Alot of them are pretty guarded and dont like strangers much. But pretty nice once you get to know them. Unfortunately some are...kinda stir crazy. I remember I went to an old highschool and this bald dude ran at us and was speaking Russian. And he was swinging around a bar and shit. I think I startled him.
Man I wish I could stay ignorant to the realities of helping someone like this out. I thought that maybe I can provide shelter for someone at my dorm (I live in a single and have an extra bed free for anyone to use whenever they're drunk or in a situation where they need a bed for a night) the next morning she took all of my valuables and I got in trouble with campus security. Lesson for the day kids: never EVER try any of this shit, and don't ever be too kind to the homeless. Of course donating money and providing free food to them is decent but anything beyond that will only hurt you in the long run
"Homeless" and "Makima" don't really go together, it'd fit perfectly if it was "Woman takes in a homeless boy" though 😝. (Literally what happens at the beginning of Chainsaw Man 😅.)
