Love your videos and just saw your page for the first time the other day so catching up on a bunch of them. I would have to say Linville Falls would be one of my favorite hikes around Asheville. We have been going to Chimney Rock / Lake Lure for the past 30 years we have a house 15 miles away so of course love that area too.
We've only been to Linville Falls once but would love to go back. Yes, Chimney Rock is a fantastic area and we go there often. Such striking views!! So glad you like our videos and we really appreciate you watching them! Thanks
@@KurtandSara There is a forest road 1238 that goes from the back side parking lot of Linville Falls and is really neat. Wiseman's view is on that road if you look it up. Also near Linville on the parkway is Chestoa View such a neat overlook. That would make a neat day trip for you guys.
The Pod is packed. Leaving San Diego on Wednesday the 16th of November. Very excited to relocate to Asheville. I can't wait to explore the area and get off Grid! I'd love to meet up with you guys. I grew up in NJ and I've lived in San Diego since 2000. My girlfriend and I would love to take you to dinner and pick your brains about local stuff :) Im sure we would all get along great
First time seeing your channel and really enjoyed this video! You guys make a great team and thank you for the suggestions. Will be using them in my future travels. How long have you guys been making videos? Now following!
Thanks so much for following, we really appreciate it! Also thanks for the nice comment. We've been making videos for the last 3 years. Good luck with your travels. Have a good one!
Thanks so much for the suggestion, we'll check that out for sure. We started the video at a river crossing trail near the Dupont State Recreational Forest Corn Mill Shoals access parking area. It's hard to explain how to get there (we always get a little lost and have to look at our trail map) but there are lots of cool trails near that area. Hope this is some help.
Great job making this video Sara and Kurt.
Thanks Dad, we are glad you liked it!
Great video! But what about Devils Courthouse…. My favorite!
Haha, Devil's Courthouse was our runner up for best views! Maybe it will show up in another video, lol...

What location are you guys at in the start of the video? The running water is beautiful.
I recommend a short hike up to Pearson’s Falls in Saluda.
