Grand & beautiful work! Ukraine has a lot of brilliant artists like yourself to beautify it after this stupid war ends & Russia gets its ass kicked.
Thank you for your support 🙏

I used Basswood/Lindenwood

Another great job my friend, glad you got it uploaded. Is this the one where you’re doing 26 all together?
Yes, one order is a coat of arms, the other 28 carved frames of mirrors. A parcel of orders was supposed to go to Europe on March 1 .... but the war stopped everything, I don’t know when the customer can receive it.
Do you have a list of all the tools you used?
I'm using:
Straight grinder
Abbasali Velcro Type Sanding Pad for angle grinder
Nylon Wheel Brush FOR ANGLE GRINDER
Bevel brush for angle grinder

I find your chiseling so satisfying. I'm curious, why didn't you use the router for the pieces you chisel out at the 2:00 mark?
hello. I use all possible tools. Each tool has its own advantages and disadvantages. For me, there is a very important factor is speed. In this case, it is much faster for me to chip off pieces of wood than to mill them.)))
@@oleksandrhrytsaiwoodcarvin1051 Ah! That makes perfect sense!

How much would a crest like this cost to buy?
hello. sorry I don't take orders
@@oleksandrhrytsaiwoodcarvin1051 no worries thank you for replying :)
Very wasteful of wood. Especially good wood. You could have used spruce construction lumber and basswood for details. No wonder joinery and carving were separate trades. You guys would have chewed up the forests.
