Alan Watts was born in England in 1915 and developed a deep interest in Eastern philosophy from a young age. I dont watch these for the golden shit at the top of a mountain, ive made that trip enough times to not feel pressured anymore, i just want some help sleeping by the echos of a long dead man. I love the trip he takes us on but i know now more than i did when i first heard him that this is no more than an amusement ride for both him and his audience. Enjoy your ride but remember the view of the mountain is the same its simply our view which gives it that mystical and unattainable position in our minds
The Gold is at the bottom of the mountain.. you have to keep digging and digging to obtain it, but at the top is a fine view. Take your pick, I like both!

Religions do in fact exist. I like Alan Watts' take on how religion ought to be a medicine rather than a diet.
