    How to Replace the board in Your Hot Tub.
    Im not really 100% sure what really caused this to happen... It could of been a loose connection a faulty GFCI or a power serge. In this video I will show you how to chance out the board for a new one and all of the things that you will need to do to make this happen..This is one of the time that Gorilla hands will be needed.

    I am curious what the attraction is to own a hot tub in a warm climate? We live in Nova Scotia, Canada and using our hot tub in the winter is the absolute best! Light snow, -10C is perfect hot tub weather. We bought a used Cal Spa back in May and surprisingly used it more in the summer than I expected. That said, not sure I'd want a hot tub in an Arizona climate.
    By the way, LOVE your videos! I have confidently made repairs to our hot tub after watching your videos. These are relatively simple appliances. A huge thank you!

    Hey Spa Man,
    Fellow Arizonan here - Chandler resident. Really enjoy your channel and have found lots of useful info, especially the How to videos for wiring a spa.
    Just curious about your thoughts on California Cooperage/MAAX Spas.
    I just bought one in excellent condition. Everything works as designed and haven't found any issues so far. Any info you can impart about the brand or components used regarding caveats, life span, etc.?
    Thanks!

      Good Spa... Maintenance is a big key in Az change water every 90 to 100 days (We have the Hardest water in Az ) check chemicals weekly and new filters every year. other then that keep it full of water and running year around so seals don't dry out. Thanks for Watching & SUBSCRIBING

    Why would Tuff Spa cover up a button on the top side control with the sticker?

    • @spaman5440
      @spaman5440  Рік тому

      I dont believe Tuff Spa did this..I think that this was a replacement topside and these topsides can be programed several ways and this is how it was programed...Im not positive but I've done several and that makes the most sense to me. Thanks for Watching & SUBSCRIBING

    I have one of these spas, and I run it off of 110V. Would I save on my power bill or anything if I convert it to 220V do you think?… I’m assuming that it is a little harder running the spa off of 110V…

    • @spaman5440
      @spaman5440  Рік тому

      Ok when you run 110 volt spa the motor is a 110 volt motor and the heater is a 1.0kw and will heat at about 1 to 2 degrees per hour..and when you run the spa on high speed the heater will not heat at the same time. Now if you were tp switch it to a 220 volt you still have a 110 volt motor but now the heater is a 4.0kw and can heat up as fast as 6 degrees per hour and when you run the spa on high speed it will heat at the same time. So yes you will see money with a 220 volt spa.. Side note the jet performance will remain the same in this example Hope this Helps Thanks for Watching & SUBSCRIBING
