This was a surprise. Never heard of shelf liner to make wreaths. So its an item I can add to my list. I make a trial one before committing to a request. Yours was awesome. A glass or 2 of wine sounds good to me
Your video is so plain and relatable. I am glad it does not look professionally and edited in printshop done. If that is your intent well done. I love it. Most of all I love your way of instruction. It is like having your friend or auntie telling you how to make a stunningly lovely inexpensive wreath. I wish I had found you before I decided to not have a flabby butt (I’m long in the tooth) and gave up all alcohol (Moscato was my fav😤), I’d be on the Rosa too. I will be trying to make a giant snow globe wreath and your snow ball and snowman wreath inspired me. Thank you for sharing the beauty. 👩🏽🎨👩🏻🎨
This was AMAZING!!! I too purchase all supplies from the Dollar Store. I have been wanting to attempt the liner wreaths, but wasn't to sure of them - your thorough tutorial has made it do able. I will be putting one together tomorrow - THANKS Aurora!
Thank you for sharing this. I agree that this video is by far the BEST on UA-cam. Girl, we could sit at your table with our wine and taquitos and make wreaths and laugh and talk all night. I really enjoyed watching you. You're very talented and definitely blessed.
Great Tut!! Just learned about the crafting ideas with this shelf liner material !! Came over from a tutorial about making beautiful flowers with the liner.... both projects look awesome !! Love your sense of humor... all in all a wonderful tut !!! God bless !!!
Wonderful tutorial!!! You make it seem so easy I'm just waiting til my dollar store opens this morning and running to get some shelf liners!!! Thanks!!!!
loved your tutorial. I've been crafting again for the past 5 months because I've been home from a back surgery. I just haven't gotten myself to make a wreath yet. I've been. putting other items on my front door but I would like something neutral. Thank you!
you can get grip liner in white at the dollar tree pretty much all the time and often find egg shell or tan/natural tones... glad you liked the tutorial! If you do one, let me know how it turns out..most of the work is definitely something you can do while sitting in your recliner!
Aurora, you have inspired me and now I've gone wreath crazy lol. I've made 3 wreath this past weekend. I made shelf a 2 color shelf liner, a burlap and a 3 color patriot mesh one. :)
Thats awesome! I made a floral grapevine yesterday as a Mothers Day gift yesterday, i have to say they come together pretty quickly...you just might want to give one of those a go next...make sure to use a Michaels coupon on the grapevine wreath if you have one near buy so you can get it cheaper..they def. cost more than the straw or wire!
Thank you watched a few tutorials...but yours is the best! You explain everything wonderfully and love your personality!! Thank you again now ill start mine.
Love your wreath So cool and ingenious. I found my shelf gripper at the $ Store too. Would it go faster if you tied your bows first with string then put them on. It might be faster and possibly easier ? Idk. So buy your self a pair of wire cutters. You'll be glad that you did.
Oh i have wire cutters :) i dont know about trying them i woukd think the added step would likely make the time about the same...but hey, give it a try!
This was great. Thank you sooooo much, I have a question. Could you cut your burlap in squares as well? I know they wont be 6 inches but I was just curious! thanks again
You can get burlap in 5 inches at walmart I believe and I dont see why not. I have cut burlap into "picket" shapes folded and placed them and it worked well. Sme burlap will fray so watch for that..also, some people worry about breathing in the fibers so, while I know nothing about what danger that might present, make sure your space is well ventilated :)
thanks, i appreciate the thumbs up ;) I love these because they are so efficient and cost effective. I have seen people do them with other lengths...but I think this is the best :)
these decorations are wired on, the snowman is glued to the snowflake ornament and wire sued to suspend the flake sideways. If you are going to hang it outdoors, hot glue will be fine unless you have extreme weather...hot glue is susceptible to extreme heat especially and your decorations will fall off
Love your wreath! You explain things so clearly in your tutorial . What the name of your wine you were drinking? Where do you get your wine from? Tfs. Hugs 😊
Hi there, Im glad you enjoyed it! The wine is a pink bubbly pink moscato from Sutter Home Winery. Im lucky enough to live about an hour from the Napa Valley, so I get allll the good wine ;) Seriously though, Safeway has a great selection here and good sales and Trader Joes always has good deals on their higher end wines! Just picked up a Stags Leap Winery Chard. frm Joes the other day for 22 dollars, which is very good!
Vickie Murray there are actually a couple of TJs in N Carolina, though I don't know how far from you. most people start with a mild sweeter wine such as a white Riesling. should be lightly sweet with a hint of strawberry. Moscato wine is quite a bit sweeter. the thing about wine is it really depends on what you like. BUT IF you like sweet, j would try a nice low prices Beringer Riesling. they are about 5 bucks a bottle. remember. expensive doesn't always mean good! if you wa t to try a red, go for a mild one like a merlot or zinfandel. the best way to get familiar is to do a so e tasting. see if there are any wine bars in town and go in for a "flight". when the hubs and I go, we get one red and one white flight, which is usually 3 wines to taste, then you only take home one you like!
Sure, your ruffles will look a bit larger and be a bit closer in the middle but it should work fine and look good. If you want a closer approximation you could always cut them to 5x5 but I think you will be fine!
If you cut your rolls in half (scissors will do it) then I have a 6" square of cardboard that I wrap the halves around and just cut at top and bottom and you have your perfect 6" squares...much quicker than doing individual cuts..
I have done that, it's a great tip-thanks for sharing. Try this: Tape two pieces of cardboard together in the middle, then you have a slot to slip your scissors into at the top between the two and it makes cutting them even easier!
You can..BUT sometimes they are folded toward the end so you might want to unroll and reroll them..bt..if you have alarger roll, its probably going to move on you and your squares won be so true
Im so glad you enjoyed it! I have been so busy..but I do have the supplies for a new one ready for a new tutorial...or as my sister and i call them "tut" (toot) LOL Keep on crafting!
LOL...no, but dont try this at home, Im a professional ;) ..NO NO NO, sip while you craft only or you will end up with something....interesting ;) but hey beauty is in the eye of the beholder! Thanks for the comments!

@@auroram8906 you don't want a fan on while you're working with the burlap blowing those fibers around to be breathed in
Yay!! You did it just as I do!! Great job!
thanks, i appreciate the thumbs up ;) I love these because they are so efficient and cost effective. I have seen people do them with other lengths...but I think this is the best :)
Debi's Wreaths and Things to
I Love this thanks for share
Can you please tell me what the mat is called, since you recommend it. I'm setting up a table and it is just what i need! Thanks
I believe you mean the fiskars cutting mat
Too stinking cute! I love it!
thanks! I will be putting up a new tutorial this weekend!
Beautiful.
Enjoyed your instruction video
Nice video. It's probably easier to attach all the zip ties first, then attach the bows and close them up later.
Thank you . I have learned a lot.
Eileen Anderson you are very welcome!
Very beautiful
Very Nice!!!
loved this video.
Thank you for the tutourial!!
You are so welcome!
What do you use to apply decorations to this type of wreath? Can use a glue gun?
these decorations are wired on, the snowman is glued to the snowflake ornament and wire sued to suspend the flake sideways. If you are going to hang it outdoors, hot glue will be fine unless you have extreme weather...hot glue is susceptible to extreme heat especially and your decorations will fall off

Ty.😊 I don't have that place here in North Carolina. I don't know much about wine. What brand would you recommend start with?😊
Vickie Murray there are actually a couple of TJs in N Carolina, though I don't know how far from you. most people start with a mild sweeter wine such as a white Riesling. should be lightly sweet with a hint of strawberry. Thank you so much! 😊
What kind of wine do you drink for night crafting ?✌🏻❤
it totally depends...I like reds whites..sometimes blush..just dont drink too much before you get going, or you wont finish LOL
does this type of wreath melt in direct sunlight?
Patricia Cativo well I don't know why it would. I understand the color will fade over time but mine has been fine in terms of structure.
Very cute !!!
thank you!
SO adorable. Thanks so much. The home store ,is it a department in the Dollar tree?
yes it is :)
Awesome wreath
Thanks! Im glad you like it :)
Great video! Thank you! You are too funny!
you are so welcome!
Hello you used a 14 inch ring with 6 by 6 squares would I be able to use a 12 inch ring with the 6 by 6 squares
Sure, your ruffles will look a bit larger and be a bit closer in the middle but it should work fine and look good. If you want a closer approximation you could always cut them to 5x5 but I think you will be fine!
Aurora M ty
Can I use 12inch ring and use outside ring and inside ring

Where do you live because our Dollar Tree never have that kind of stuff
I live in cali. That said, ask your dt manager when they get restocks because some crafters will go in a buy stuff up.
I just love you.Great sence of humer also you give great direction. Thank you for sharing vickey_cook from Ky
Im so glad you enjoyed it! I have been so busy..but I do have the supplies for a new one ready for a new tutorial...or as my sister and i call them "tut" (toot) LOL Keep on crafting!
i like your work thank you for showing the video
melvina karaiseky you're welcome!
very pretty
glad you like it :)
love it
thanks!
Go figure Cali👍🏻I'm in Massachusetts (taxachusetts) the dollar trees are never stocked
www.dollartree.com/custserv/custserv.jsp?pageName=StoreLocations there are a couple in your state. Not sure how far from you though.
Oh no....there are dollar trees in our state, just not as nice as the one you were in.
so cute
What is the home store?
its just a section in the dollar tree store :)
Your funny..... enjoy your wine...yep lots of work...
Do you have more videos on here
yes I have a few, i guess if you subscribe you see them all. Still planning my next one..Im thinking patriotic crafts...
I bought the same size Fiskars Cutting May on Amazon for $28.00
The hot glue WILL NOT hold the frame.
Personally I don't think drinking wine is appropriate for this forum. If you drink wine you should do it on a wine tutorial.
♥'d it! TYSM
IM so glad I hope it was helpful :)
were you drunk when you were through? 😁 your presentation is comical and very informative. tfs.
LOL...no, but dont try this at home, Im a professional ;) ..NO NO NO, sip while you craft only or you will end up with something....interesting ;) but hey beauty is in the eye of the beholder! Thanks for the comments!
Walmart has the self healing mats for 29.00.
yum muscato
so much yum!
Where is that dollar tree?
Buttermilk Bay Soap it's in Brentwood, northern ca. next to the Los medanos college extension on sand creek. the home section us back of the store right side
There's a much easier way. Gals down south know how to do this much better!! Not crazy about wine, anyway.
I’m just trying out a couplecouple is my way for a long iiiipppppppppppppppppppp
wreath is very pretty....butt.....I don't think its a good idea to advertise drinking wine while you craft....
Im glad you like it, to each his or her own. Im an adult and im not "advertising" anything. Thanks for the input.
Like result but u kept talking about stuff not about whats to be done
