- This WPL B36 URAL-4320 (Урал-4320 in Russian) military truck is a cheap 1/16 scale kit. During the last couple of days I have assembled it and it was a lot of fun.
All in all it is very detailed, even the drive train and the suspension with 3 solid axles and leaf spring suspension is very similar with the original.
The off road capabilities are insane, even in stock condition. Of course it is controlled by my „Micro RC“ Arduino 2.4 GHz DIY remote.
In this video: Kit unboxing and how to build it!
Adding a DIY Open Source Diesel engine sound simulator: • WPL B36 URAL-4320 Mili...
Outdoor test video in stock condition: • WPL B36 URAL-4320 Mili...
The gearbox, axle and motor upgrade video will follow soon. So stay tuned!

- tandem axle with leaf springs and 6 additional linkages, just like the original
- 6 wheel drive with prop shafts

Nice
Thanks. Yes, it really is. I love the suspension and the torque.
Thanks for video..
You're welcome. I think this should be quite an attractive truck for you.
I hope that does not mean you think i am soviet/russian... :))) (i am not)
No worries, I know you are not. But it‘s a military vehicle 😉
The front axle at 3:45 is assembled as shown on the instruction sheet. I however changed the screw hole to fit the front posts, which I found made more sense than the original setup. I believe the loose end facing the front is not a very good idea. No problem noted so far with this changed setup. It also gives more space for the upper steering rod to move.
You may be right, this might be more ideal. But I never had an issue so far.
hello , from Russia . nice work
Hi from Switzerland. Thanks for the praise.
Hello from England
I don't know if you'll read this, but I really need your help. My dad bought this set and asked me to build it. I completed it, but noticed way too late that apparently one axle was already built, indicating that someone already opened the model and likely took out a part he was missing, putting his faulty one back in. Now I noticed that the two rear differentials don't seem to run smooth at all. Also I noticed a capatictor that was soldered to the two back ports of the motor for some reason. What could that be used for?
The cap is for noise suppression, don't remove it. I recommend axles with metal bevel gears as well as metal drive shafts. You can order spare parts here: www.banggood.com/search/wpl.html?p=NZ29024828314201605E
Nice video. Can you let me know where did you found those accessories to 3D print?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks. Which accessories do you mean? Here is my Thingiverse link: www.thingiverse.com/TheDIYGuy999/designs
Does the servo fit perfectly on the tray? Does it need mod?
It is included and fits perfectly
Thanks for the info!
Does it come with the metal gears you used
Yes, they are stock. The entire drive train in this video is stock.
TheDIYGuy999 ok thanks because I wanted to but one but I didn’t want the bad plastic axles that came with the other wpls
Hello. I'm from the Czech Republic, please excuse my English. I would have a little request. I bought this kit and unfortunately came to me without instructions for composition. Wouldn't there be someone who could have sent it to me by mail? Thank you all in advance
