- Here is a look at a character I've been playing over the past few days, was a decent amount of fun and speed. Not overkill tank/damage but really fast and decent on the other two fronts. Ultimately a bit of change in skill choice can make it stronger due to how inherently powerful frostbolt ice nova is but I was just having fun playing other skills. Hope you enjoy this setup of the character!

Also this is the second time today I've heard a content creator say they dumped a build because of a sound effect loop. MBXtreme started an EK poison Pathfinder and didn't make it through leveling 😂

hmm, for that unnatural instinct + perandus pact, is there a timeless jewel that could go in the slot to the right of ascendant starting spot that could beef up those unnatural instinct nodes even more? it's probably too many travel nodes to be truly worth it, but maybe there's something there.
It's about 7 points, so quite an investment, but I think brutal restraint is an interesting choice. It saves 3 points by solving dex, and would also allow you to get full stun avoid if you replace the craft on the mana flask. Dropping skyforths means you can use Tailwind boots instead, and if you also replace the gloves you might be able to cap spell suppression. I'd probably trim some points from the templar area to try and fit it in
@@Zaykahb I put together a pob. With the 5 levels left and swapping around some travel nodes and that +30 dex node, you can add a brutal restraint with no relevant notable mods and get to 75% spell suppression, add about 5-10% more life/es, and negligible damage bonus.
timeless jewels & other radius modifying jewels generally do not work together, for example the flat dex from brutal will overwrite the flat mana whereever the two circles coexist.
Maybe GGG will at one point add transfigured Berserk of the Shaman or something that converts the attack bonuses to spells.

yes it would but I highly suggest hiero over a marauder when it comes to an archmage build, the ascendancy has way too much to turn down for mana based characters IMO.

At this point why not use frost blink as a damaging skill? It should be pretty good damage in 6 link with this amount of cast speed. Will just need to position yourself on single target to double hit with it. And clear should be fine.

they give all the attack build tools to spell builds. why dont they give spell build tools to attack builds, like Attack on crit support or smth

Because when i wear the helm and get rage Rf damage goes up :_;
RF benefits from spell damage since it has the "spell" tag. You might be drunk.
@@SeemoreFrames RF does not benefit from spell damage. The spell tag is there because of the buff it gives.

Like any minion gem the "spell" tag is for summoning the minion not its damage....

There is a charge mtx that reduces the charge gain/loss sound effect. It’s the one that causes the charges to orbit a red green or blue orb that orbits you.
quite certain you cant change inspiration. he already has charge effect mtx atleast ^^
What about playing this build with Manabond? Isn't that skill literally made for mana builds?

Hmm, I wonder if using Kinetic Blast of Clustering or Power Siphon of the Archmage could work as well? You would lose some Attack Speed due to converting Rage attack speed, but Berserk would work and Soul Eater, spell damage can be recovered from Wand mastery
It's interesting and definitely not overpowered. I guess the build is getting phys reduction, speed, and damage from the helmet. I guess that's a lot of cast speed, and getting that much from your helmet is going to be pretty hard otherwise.
couldnt you add arrogance on ur haste?? pretty sure it works fine. ive my eternal blessing linked with it on my archmage build, and i dont see why it wouldnt work. just free extra aura effect
I literally play with no gamesound bar a tiny bit to ping trade, and there's music on top of that so the inspiration problem doesn't apply to me lol. That may be because I played an inspiration incinerate build 2 leagues back so I was aware of the problem haha

My recommendation for relic of the pact would be probably apostate + amulet that gives life per empty socket. I have not made plans for an apostate or relic of the pact yet this league but i want to build with apostate at some point and relic is a top contender choice for that item IMO.
Hey captainlance! Awesome build I really like it. Would you recommend the belt on this build instead of balbala in the str/int stacker?
probably not just because belt slot is very valuable for attribute stack characters
@CaptainLance9 just FYI it looks like the +25 all stats from connection to Scion wheel is not working from Pure Talent + Unnatural Instinct combo. If you allocate the Scion start point, it does nothing due to Unnatural jewel and isnt giving the +25 stats. If you unallocate it, then it doesnt work with Pure Talent either (guessing as it doesn't count as allocated when gained from UnIn). It only works when you either remove Unnatural Instinct entirely, or path to a different Scion start node outside of it's radius.
might be a bug with pob? i definitely get the attributes from that point

i didnt watch the whole video so idk if you talked about it, but you should try the timeless jewel mana to regen rage instead
Then how will you cast spells with no mana regen?

That jewel has been dead for years for anything but heist and lab runners (who swap it out to do damage), since it gives skills rage cost which you can't mitigate.
That breaks the rage regen from the helmet
@@xXEnj0y where is no way to make 0 cost spells in game since 25% manacost flask craft was removed. And for helmet to work you have to spend 200 mana.
