My original DuraforcePro was run over by a car last year (Verizon with Sapphire screen). Still works fine. No cracks or damage to the screen. It's also a Class1 Div2 rated phone. Important when I'm at refineries or in the gas and oil fields. Has worked for me with no screen response issues in -15F temps with snow falling on the screen. Has fallen in the snow, into water a couple inches deep, fell 20 feet off a platform around a tank. That fall put some tiny scratches on the case corner, that was all. I threw it across a room to a friend at work that wanted to see it. He missed and it bounced off the table and floor. Nothing happened to the phone. The look on his face when he missed the catch was priceless. 😆 There's a test stress for you. 🙂
When you say specs you have to mention the RAM, ROM, processor, type of display, available networks(4G or 3G), android version, year it was manufactured in and maybe a brief mention of the price.
Misleading clips, extremely shallow content, and straight up misinformation in multiple cases. If this video reflects the quality of your channel...well, don't know what to say.
My idea of a good rugged phone is one that either stops iron dust or filings from sticking to the speakers and mics or allows you to wipe them off. at moment one has to use a magnet to pull off iron filings .so running risk of damaging cones of speakers eventually this is what generally kills most metal workers phones.
my problem with modern smartphones is that it's a leisurely gaming and social media tracking device, and a communication and navigation/survival device second. i want a phone designed the other way around and to eliminate social media tracking and information sensitivity altogether. my phone will be designed to clip onto a belt or molle or maybe a lanyard or carabiner that can attach to multiple support systems. it can be held in the pocket as well, but wouldn't be for skinny jeans. my device will be thicker than traditional smartphones with a cover for the screen for protection. it will be completely waterproof up to a depth of 30 meters. it will have a smaller but wider screen optimized for wifi, gps, radio, etc and cutting out all the fat accumulated over the years through marketing and consumerism. this will also free up resources to optimize it to be the most efficient communication and satellite device. it will be designed to appeal to the edc market who may not see the smart phone, being ubiquitous as it is, as really a survival tool. i want to change that. the smart phone has been an innovative and life saving device. and life saving is the highest utility any device can hope to attain and it has achieved it. however how do we make the device focused for life saving, how do we change its image from being that of a kid's toy to go on instagram and tiktok with, and more towards what the phone was initially designed for, to get time sensitive messages across space rapidly. and with advent of gps and other forms of navigation aid, to offer independence and life saving reliability in all situations.
My experience with UleFone's support and the Armor 3. First off, it's a pretty decent phone, as long as you don't drop it. I dropped mine and it must have hit just right, the camera got jacked up (the rear camera). There was like a wavey look to video or pictures, which ended up being blurry. So, I got in touch with Ulefone's support. They were suppose to send me a replacement camera. never happened. They were good about going back and forth but when it came time to deliver, they went dark. That's two strikes. The phone fell out of my pocket while on a 6ft ladder. It fell on a paverbrick deck and it hit face down. SHATTERED the screen. So, over all, I give this phone a 2 out of 10. Support 0 out of 10. I'm looking for a replacement, Ulefone is not one of them.
Well I've had my SONIM xp8 over 2 years absolutely brilliant it's life proof what more , I read the case study a SONIM xp8 lost in the sea by a jet ski patrol fished out a year later nothing wrong there beat that !.
Sonim XP8 was almost unusable until I did a factory reset. It has no processor power. I like the battery life and how tough it is. It's fallen out of my pocket while riding go karts and mini bikes and is unscathed. Wifi hotspot works good. Wish it had a head phone jack.

It's sad you would leave out the "Oukitel WP6" out of your rugged phone selection. It's waterproof, shockproof, allows two Sim cards in addition to the expandable micro sdxc memory card slot, USB OTG mode, USB OTG Charging mode (which allows you to use the 10,000mAh battery as a portable USB charger), a fast 8-core P70 processor, a huge +6 inch screen, a tough non-curved gorilla glass screen, an aux audio headphone jack, bluetooth, a fingerprint security sensor, 48MP camera that works great in low light situations with a front selfie camera, a bright flash light/photo-video flash, GPS, and has plenty of memory depending on the model you purchase (4gb RAM/64gb HDD or 6gb RAM/128gb HDD). This phone is built like a brick and is extremely fast when installing applications, rendering offline maps such as Sygic Maps, OSMAnd Maps and Google Maps, and playing graphic intensive FPS and RPG games. My favorite part of the phone is the battery. After 7 hours of streaming UA-cam videos on it, I only lost 30 percent battery life (with 70% out of 100% left). That's extremely impressive. Use a 15 watt/3.0 amp charger and the battery charges pretty darn fast. The phone will handle an 18 watt charger according to factory specifications. I'd like to share my NEGATIVE experience with BLACKVIEW product and customer service.
I bought a “rugged phone” BV6800-Pro (Order ID: #20180913094356-5b9ada1cb3739 - Serial number: BV6800Pro000962) because I needed a strong/solid product, but, once I got it, I found its quality didn’t match the announced specs and didn’t fit my requirements; the phone performance has been much worse than expected and different from what written in company description, as follows: • Waterproof: the phone is sold as waterproof (IP68+IP69k), “it can handle depths of even 5 meters for 1 hour” is written in the company description, but it got exposed to a bit of rain for a few minutes and it started to have big problems, then never solved, becoming useless already after only 6 months of usage. • Fingerprints: the “0.1S unlock with fingerprints recognition” written in the company description was never real; in the reality the fingerprints sensor has never been working properly; always very slow, often does not recognize the fingerprints, sometime it gets stuck, stop working and brings all the system to crush (need to restart the phone); totally useless. • Camera: the dual-camera (“perfect-shot”) was supposed “to bring a DSLR shooting experiences” but in the reality, since the very first day, was almost never able to focus properly and picture quality, anyway, has been the worse I ever had on a smartphone; it doesn’t even deserve to waste more time in describing this... • General Solidity: keys/buttons started to have problems already after only one month of usage; initially the “volume down” got simply very sensitive and any minimum touch would activate it without any perceivable feedback, always putting the volume down to zero without any notice. Then it did stop to work at all, and to regulate the volume it was necessary to open the “volume options” on the screen; then even the “volume-up” key/button stopped working properly... 50% of the keys/buttons with failure in a few months; not really what you expect from a "so called" “Military Standard 810G rating” rugged-phone! • Wireless charging: since the very first period, most of the times, it hasn’t been working properly; The wireless charger turns on (green light) when connected to the cable, then nothing happens when the phone is placed on it, or, otherwise, the charging procedure keeps on with start and stop every few seconds, without really charging the phone. Useless. • Normal charging: after the phone got a bit of rain (just a bit of rain on a "waterproof" IP68 device!) the connection for the USB plug did stop working (even if I did clean and dry it properly); the charge doesn’t start or is very slow, and the phone gets extremely hot. Cannot be like this. (I repeat: this was supposed to be a “rugged phone”, waterproof...) ...Then, here we go about the "Service": • When I first contacted Blackview customer service about this situation it was August 11th 2019; then it took “ages” to understand what to possibly do, untill the one year warranty was, of course, over... • The fact is that Balckview company doesn’t offer any technical support outside China and this is quite a big issue for any customer who needs technical assistance or repair! ... Who will ever really spend money, effort and time to organize a delivery to China (with possible problems with custom-office any time) and then wait for an unknown long time (how many weeks??) before having the phone back!?! I think they shouldn’t sell products in countries where they cannot organize and offer a real local technical support. • I’ve been also trying to have my phone repaired directly in several independent phone repair shops, both in south-east Asia and in Europe, but I found out nobody wants to work on it because they cannot have official spare parts; so nobody will even try to fix your Blackview devices... • Last but not least, when I bought the phone on Blackview official website I paid it immediately, then I had to wait more than 2 months to receive it in Europe; that means I had to wait more than double the time I was supposed to... (Blackview website was telling the delivery would have been within one month)
I have the Armor 7 and it's been a few months, so far so good i would say. It's been fast and reliable for me and it's pretty easy to get 8 hours on screen time while doing demanding tasks. Watching only videos and some social media well get you to 11 hours if your lucky. Their customer support is pathetic though so If you have problems they won't reply. I just asked some questions a few times and no reply. I don't know about updates either, so far I've had one with some bug fixes and a security patch for December 2019. But overall I'm happy with the phone though even managed to get a silicon case from Amazon for 10 bucks since it is pretty slippery because of the plastic back.

Show of hands. How many people PURPOSELY throw their phone up in the air and let if fall to the ground, throw your phone in the creek or lay it on the drive way and drive over it. Not once, but multiple times? Not me, but my UleFone Armor 3, I'd like to HAVE dropped it only ONCE where it didn't screw up the camera. It might survive a hard drop on the outside, but the inside is a DIFFERENT story. That's why I'm here. Shopping for a replacement. Thanks for the video.

I got the x7 pro a week ago. I think it's a great piece. Photos not quite as good as a samsung, apple etc. But for a tradesman, outdoorsman or anyone who's rough on things like myself it's great.
Most rugged smartphones are overpriced for their hardware. Better go with a mid range phone and spend some extra cash on a solid tempered glass and armor case like spigen
Why are 99,9% of these so called "best top XX" youtuber never show Kyocera Duraforce Pro? One when not the best rugged phone. Wait never heard of it or not paid by the companie or because copied the content from others.
Next time, find someone whose first language is english. How did they not even mention the Kyocera Duraforce Pro 2?! All these phones have gorilla glass (same as any ordinary phone), but the Duraforce has sapphire
Any good smartphone should have an immunity app built in. A phone scans the environment and alters your immune system for ambient conditions. These phones are only for Star Trek deep space personnel currently. But, I heard from an insider that the phone will be available in 2050 for $90 000.00 US.

@@pensareconfondeidee yes... Not waterproof. Blackview Bv9800 Pro with FLIR thermal camera... Very nice phone, but after a normal wash, water got inside, and Phone was dead from that day...
Exactly Jeffrey, I thought the same "3000mah massive" ?? Than what they would say about Ulefone Armor 3W for example with + 10000mah??
Show of hands. How many people PURPOSELY throw their phone up in the air and let if fall to the ground, throw your phone in the creek or lay it on the drive way and drive over it. Not once, but multiple times? Not me, but my UleFone Armor 3, I'd like to HAVE dropped it only ONCE where it didn't screw up the camera. It might survive a hard drop on the outside, but the inside is a DIFFERENT story. That's why I'm here. Shopping for a replacement. Thanks for the video.
What about Samsung Xcover pro?

I’ve always wanted one but the biggest question to me is how do you get it serviced if something happens?? How do the cell phone companies support these??
there's are rugget phones on eBay that are unlock and can work with your carrier
i think u mean the aftersale service, right?
Are these phones resistant to acids & other chemicals or something else ?
When You Make A Video You Should Speak So People Can Understand Every Word That You're Saying! There Are Many Times In This Video That The Words Are All Garbled Up!
I Heard You Say ???200mAh Battery! You Shouldn't Be Making Videos If People Have To Wonder What You Said!!!....
Take it easy there Adolph. Don't worry bud you sound awesome and gave me some great knowledge of rugged phones. Don't worry about the haters. Keep the videos coming.
Bring the toughest Smartphones with militery spex with just 4.7 inch screens ok

I'm no fan of iPhones but doesn't Apple wanna participate in this section at all? Their first models broke almost by only looking at them, I guess they can stand a little bit more today. I have an old Samsung GT-B2710 and it's really rugged to. Maybe not like those in this vid but I really like it.
Whts the phone in the tumbnail
First one has 2000mah battery? How would that be considered good in any way? 3-4k is like the minimum that a phone should have
I have it, and it's a really good phone. Depends on use, but I get a full day.
0:34 name of the phone? Please

Doogee S95 PRO - The best
but it cant take the night vision module like the S90 can ?
Klass!
And what about ULEFONE AMOR 7?
I got the x7 pro a week ago. I think it's a great piece. Photos not quite as good as a samsung, apple etc. But for a tradesman, outdoorsman or anyone who's rough on things like myself it's great.
Where's the UniHertz Titan?

Nokia: everyone is bad boy until the real bad boy comes...
Most rugged smartphones are overpriced for their hardware. Better go with a mid range phone and spend some extra cash on a solid tempered glass and armor case like spigen
I like the ( atome xl ) phone
Yeah, a s9 in a life proof case hase been a pretty good combo lol.
Just get s8 active
Oukitel wp6 is out.
Even If they are Mil810 Standard., I Wudd still protect (the Beauty of) these With a #Mouse Case! 😂😂✌.. AGM, Land Rover, CAT,... AGM JAVELIN?
Yes Nokia 3310 is number 0th.
Nothing can surpass how tough nokia 3310 is misleading content
Why are 99,9% of these so called "best top XX" youtuber never show Kyocera Duraforce Pro? One when not the best rugged phone. Wait never heard of it or not paid by the companie or because copied the content from others.
coarse promotion of samsung ... and where the HAMMER series? avoid samsung like a fire
Next time, find someone whose first language is english. How did they not even mention the Kyocera Duraforce Pro 2?! All these phones have gorilla glass (same as any ordinary phone), but the Duraforce has sapphire
Nokia 3310
Thanks for your comment.
Any good smartphone should have an immunity app built in.
A phone scans the environment and alters your immune system for ambient conditions.
These phones are only for Star Trek deep space personnel currently.
But, I heard from an insider that the phone will be available in 2050 for $90 000.00 US.
I'd like to share my NEGATIVE experience with BLACKVIEW product and customer service.
I bought a “rugged phone” BV6800-Pro (Order ID: #20180913094356-5b9ada1cb3739 - Serial number: BV6800Pro000962) because I needed a strong/solid product, but, once I got it, I found its quality didn’t match the announced specs and didn’t fit my requirements; the phone performance has been much worse than expected and different from what written in company description, as follows:
• Waterproof: the phone is sold as waterproof (IP68+IP69k), “it can handle depths of even 5 meters for 1 hour” is written in the company description, but it got exposed to a bit of rain for a few minutes and it started to have big problems, then never solved, becoming useless already after only 6 months of usage.
(I repeat: this was supposed to be a “rugged phone”, waterproof...)
...Then, here we go about the "Service":
• When I first contacted Blackview customer service about this situation it was August 11th 2019; then it took “ages” to understand what to possibly do, untill the one year warranty was, of course, over...
I'm never saying resistance the same way again. Also.... Out derss
